The Wild Kansas City Morning

Apparently, it's a hot night/morning out there on Kansas City streets.

One of our AWESOME KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SERVICE KCFD PEEPS posted this pic of a building engulfed in flames @ 27th and West Paseo.

And . . .

OF COURSE NEWS OF A WESTPORT DUI CHECKPOINT HAS LIT UP FACEBOOK IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS!!!

The local lesson: Stay safe out there and think about making the Internets your only social activity.

DEVELOPING . . .

  1. Looks like another EPIC FAILURE of KCFD to save a burning building from distruction. They've fucked up the ambulance service and they can't put out fires. Yet the taxpayers should keep throwing away money on their bloated salaries and top heavy command staff? I think it is time to privatize the ambulance service and cut the fire budget again! Pay for performance!!!

  2. 8:13, learn to fucking spell before you make any absurd comments again. Not only are you misinformed about how KCFD puts out fires( ranked 5th most aggressive fire dept. In the country) you can't pass the 5th grade spelling bee. You sir, are a fuckstick!!!

  3. 2:21, LOL.

I've NEVER seen a list of "most aggressive" fire departments in the country.

What color is the sky in your world?

  4. Property loss and life saves are a big part of the aggressiveness. Get on this new thing called the computer and check for yourself. KCFD isn't like your sweet little O.P fire dept.. KCFD actually enters the building and puts the fire out. KCFD doesnt stick the nozzle in a window and wish the fire goes out like your heavenly loved department. You guys have clean rigs and nice equipment though. One day you may get to use them.

  5. Just imagine that fire being in Overland Park. Itd still be burning! Never seen a bush fire turn into burning a 12 unit apt building down. Oh wait.....Overland Park. Its amazing so many people on here know the Fire Service so well. Which local Fire Dept is so much better than KCFD? This should be interesting.
