  3. Same sad old crowd of grifters who have already worked at making good livings themselves for decades and all the while destroyed the east side and its neighborhoods for residents.
Curls, Bland, Hughes, Adams, Grant, and on and on.
And the community can't get rid of them and the establsihment is so afraid of them they just keep appointing them to boards, funding them, and even giving celebrations in their honor. And the money just keeps disappearing.
Even all the homicides doesn't get there people's attention enough to change what's going on.
A complete lack of leadership and any hint of courage.

  4. Who would you like as the new leaders?

  5. Leaders are people with ideas and goals who step forward and rally other folks to their causes. It takes initiative, hard work, guts, the honesty to address real issues, the ability to collaborate with other individuals and organizations, and some ideas and proposals to move any community forward.
How about some serious proposals and community involvement addressing personal repsonsibility, basic civil behavior, and neighborhoods working with the cops to increase their own safety.
The city has thousands of not-for-profits, many more thousands of city and county employees, and hundreds of elected and appointed officials and we spend many hundreds of millions of dollars for this "leadership" by people who have run for office, accepted appointments, or agreed to be placed on the payroll.
Let's start there. We're already paying lots of money for all of them.

  6. This bag couldn't successfully "explain" how to make a ketchup sandwich. Just dumber than a box of doorknobs.
