Take note . . .
THEY'RE STILL TRYING TO CRAM SUCKERS INTO THE LAME KC STRIP TROLLEY THAT'S STILL A RATHER LAME LOCAL ATTRACTION!!!
Here's the desperate Kansas City pitch:
Kansas City Strip Trolleys - Your ride into Kansas City's Night Life
TKC FACT CHECK . . . Let me assure you that there are no hotties using mass transit in Westport on the weekend.
Also, week and week and year after year I've only seen these trolleys EMPTY . . . THEY DID NOT GET AN ALL-STAR GAME BUMP!!!
And while I'm probably done debating the cash they get from KCMO . . . There's a direct correlation to the KC Strip Trolly and the Downtown Toy Train.
They're both all-hype.
Neither one will affect how much people use their cars.
Neither operation really qualifies as mass transit.
To be fair . . . At least private biz is taking a loss on this bad idea . . . When it comes to the Downtown Toy Train local companies will stay winning while taxpayers will humbly take the loss on a bad deal like those unfortunate folks taking home strangers amid random Westport hookups.
DEVELOPING . . .
These are the kind of kids you churn out when your drinking while pregnant.

ReplyDeleteWow look at us party and get drunk. What a spectacular human achievement.
ReplyDeleteThey are still mostly empty, and still holding up traffic in Westport.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Nigro drive them to Downtown, where the Trolleys can be the Toy Trains?
Oh yeah, he doesn't have a dive bar downtown.
I favor light rail! Don't let Gloria Funkhouser's po-dunk city description of Kansas City become truth among those who can't see beyond their noses regarding progress.
ReplyDeleteAs a result of having no state open container laws, under the federal Transportation Equity Act for the 21st century of 1999, a percentage of Missouri's federal highway funds is transferred instead to alcohol education programs each year.
ReplyDeleteNow you know why you have crappy highways
