First . . . Take a look at the high hopes of Jackson County Charter Reform.
Remember that Jackson County Insiders told us already that Charter Reform was a dud.
And now The Examiner offers the obit.
Jackson County voters won’t see County Charter changes on the ballot this fall.
No term limits.
No election filing reform.
And no new campaign finance rules.
The Star (Yael) recently endorsed the ego of Jackson County Legislator Crystal Williams . . .
BUT THIS CHARTER REFORM FAIL OFFERS A REAL WORLD EXAMPLE THAT CRYSTAL WILLIAMS HAS YET TO DELIVER ON ONE BIT OF LEGISLATION RELATED TO HER SO-CALLED REFORM!!!
This thing is also a huge loss for Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders . . .

And a demonstration that so-called "Girl Power" hype that exists only as a campaign strategy was all meaningless.

As usual . . . Big talk among Kansas City cocktail Democrats has revealed not a single change to the status quo despite the fact they call themselves "fighters" but have no record of achievement.
Crystal will be the next big fail
ReplyDeleteFiling reform was the only proposal that held any merit.
ReplyDeleteIt should not matter whether Mary Jo will hide you in her office the night before the filing.
Theresa is a big let down.
ReplyDeleteWhat's new. What hasn't failed with this County Executive and his Administrative staff!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll he's in for is the votes and to get somewhere else other than being County Executive. He doesn't care about the citizens unless it means he'll get a vote!! He forgets that county employees are also voters!!
