Don't worry, we still have a strong devotion to Jordan Carver. But until we can make that dream happen (I could win the lottery), we'll profile these Kansas City Power Players who were exceptionally strong this week. Check it:
TAKE A LOOK AT THIS LIST OF KANSAS CITY'S MOST POWERFUL FOR THIS WEEK!!!
POLITICOS

1. Kansas City Power Player Mike Talboy - He's now working with the most powerful interest in Kansas City. For the foreseeable future Mike Talboy will be a member of the local elite. As a Missouri House Rep. he was one of the most influential Democrats the State has seen in a generation and now behind the scenes he'll be using that same influence on current elected officials.
2. Mayor Sly James - Full steam ahead with this horrible tax and borrow plan.
3. Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo - She has now taken the role of enforcer on The Council for Mayor Sly.
4. Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders - He's quietly working on his next move.
5. Council Dude Scott Wagner - A useless daytime prowling ordinance (wtf) s his latest bit of resume padding that proved successful.
NEWSIES

Kansas City Queen Of Talk Radio Darla Jaye - She is the last remaining voice of grassroots Conservatism in Kansas City. She's fun to argue with and I find myself agreeing with her more often that I'd prefer.
Chris Hernandez - Kansas City's man about town reporter who we'll always see whenever there is news happening.
Kris Ketz - Your friend and mine on Twitter.
Christa Dubill - One of this town's best anchors AND a rather AWESOME reporter as well.
Kevin Collison - Credit where it's due . . . He's the last guy we're all reading at The Star.
KANSAS CITY INSTITUTIONS

John Landsberg @ Bottom Line Communications - The most accurate and insightful guide to Kansas City's Media Scene.
Bold. New. Poets. - The DEFINITIVE collection of spoken word artists in Kansas City.
Downtown Burlesque Underground - This town's premiere troop reviving a curvy bit of Kansas City history.
Nelson-Atkins Museum Of Art - I never get a chance to go there anymore . . . But the old school building is still a remnant of a long forgotten time when this town actually mattered.
Westport - For better or worse and always with a lot of conflict . . . Wesport remains the last refuge of local nightlife that is distinctly Kansas City.
As always, this list has been compiled according to scientific TKC polling and market research data and it's a weekly comprehensive guide to local powerful people.
You forgot a few names but I see where you're going with this one.
ReplyDeleteMore links less talk.
ReplyDeleteComprehensive guide to what?
ReplyDeleteTalboy? state reps do nothing but whine about the other party. How is kansas city better because of the leader of the party that has lost so many seats that if the other side picks up 4 more, they have a veto proof majority? That fat turd medina has more accomplishments
ReplyDeleteMoreno not medina that iss
ReplyDeleteI am adding Bob Gough from Lee's Summit. Check his MEC complaint against Freedom INC. Dated April 4, 2012. Notorized by Barbara Sanson. MEC case file #12EO77.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a whole lot of baby bullshit, but why did he bother and who does this help?
I guess we will have to wait for the authorized verdict for these stupid charges... but who got this guy to file this complaint? A power winner?
No, just another douche like all of these irrelevant people.
ReplyDeleteTalboy lied do us and fucked us over!
ReplyDeleteDarla Jaye? I have to admit that I have talked to her a couple of times, and she has given me my say. I may not agree with her, but she does give fair treatment to the other side. There are times however, listening to her, she comes across very hardcore and unforgiving. Word to the wise, don't call her show being a complete fucking idiot, on either side, she does like intelligent debate.
ReplyDeletePaul Rojas, a man of God who is for Life, school choice and traditional marriage!
ReplyDeleteFrom my experience a Man of God is neither, stick your religion up your ass, if will do us both better there where it is hidden.
ReplyDeleteDown with all female politicians.
ReplyDeleteDarla really needs to lay off the self-tanning lotion. And change her hair to a reasonable color. She definitely has a face for radio!
ReplyDeleteI thought I saw you at the Nelson not too long ago.
ReplyDeleteThat was a Botero. Fat, smiling idiot drawing and sculpture. I could see how you could mistake that for TKC.
ReplyDeleteIs the only person who says anything positive about Moreno, actually just Moreno? Chrissy or Nick, that is....
ReplyDeleteEvery party regular knows Talboy is behind the personal attacks on Moreno. Now he's using birthers for job references? That says plenty for me.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard Chris say anything negative in response to Talboy or the five others that trash him on a regular basis. That says a lot about his character.
ReplyDeleteyep.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if TKC will set a comment record if Moreno wins that state rep race.
ReplyDeleteChris Moreno is a bad character with no character.
ReplyDeleteSigned,
Not Mike Talboy and one of dozens of people who despise Chris Moreno (it's a hell of a lot more than five, believe me)
You just learn to love a guy like Moreno, he is always getting back up off the mat. This blog has to have given him nerves of steel or he would be in the hospital with an ulcer by now. He doesn't seem to care what people write or what they say, he just keeps getting back up for one more round. This guy gets an A for the aggravation he causes everyone. Someone hire that guy - can you see him on TV as a reporter. Everyone would watch that station, hoping he wasn't in front of their house getting ready to knock on their door. That guy knows how to draw attention, love him or hate him, he draws attention. lmao
ReplyDeleteMoreno will beat the hold man.
ReplyDeleteDarla Jaye's a nigger and Kris Ketz is a cross dressing faggot.
ReplyDeleteDoes Darla bleach that pussy hair blonde too?
ReplyDeleteI hope Chris Moreno beats the shit out of his primary opponent. It will be good watching him give the finger to a few political hacks.
