Today's reason for the weak-minded to lose faith . . .
"A former Roman Catholic priest with ties to the Kansas City area was found guilty Thursday of plotting the death of a man who accused him of sexual abuse."
The former priest could face life in prison.
However, for me, what's most interesting is that more than a few critics of The Kansas City Catholic Hierarchy have compared the group to an organized crime organization and this recent murder plot conviction seems to strengthen that analogy.

We all need to get over the fiction that clergymen who wear robes and ACT sanctimonious are more wise or virtuous than the average person on the street. They're not.
