Thankfully, KCPT stepped up their Internet game this weekend and they have their two weekly political shows online.
The show was waaaaaaaaaay to KC Star based to be interesting and their union boilermaker story was boring. Sorry. But Nick Haines does a nice job of keeping things lively. Good stuff and definitely worth a look.
KCPT - Kansas City Week in Review: May 18, 2012
Surprisingly, Ruckus was a bit more interesting this week with conversation about The Missouri Plan kicking things off as well as discussion of the Kansas City LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Prez Obama's declaration regarding gay marriage. Check it:
KCPT - Ruckus: May 17, 2012
Sooooooo . . . This is a good look at what influential people thinking about this week while the rest of Kansas City residents on local streets were more concerned with this town's increasing level of violence, taxes and borrowing hand over fist.
DEVELOPING . . .
Elites? What a SAD commentary on KCMO.
ReplyDeleteCan we PLEASE replace "The All-Important Gwen Grant" with credible non-grifter?
ReplyDeleteAnd also show her convicted-felon, lost-his-attorney-license shit for brains brother Clinton Adams to the City line?
Gwen Grant is a woman? That's creepy. I've been thinking she was on the panel to provide the not-quite-successful transvestite perspective.
ReplyDeleteBut the worst panelist is closeted carpet muncher Mary Halloran. For someone who is supposedly a "media consultant" she has major difficulties speaking a complete sentence or making a point concisely.
Mary O'Halloran destroys and credibility that Ruckus might have, and in case you don't agree, there is Gwen Grant to put the last nail in the credibility coffin.
ReplyDeleteMary Sanchez on WIR adds zero value. Helling is a freaking fixture, like an ugly old umbrella stand. Certainly not much to look at, nothing stellar in the ways of daily life, but is useful a few days out of the year.
Yael is a douche
ReplyDeleteNobody watches this stuff except these people spouses, and douchebag TKC Tipsters who have an elevated sense of self importance. See, I have a job, a family, a social life. So PBS and Channel 2 are not high on my Tivo list.
ReplyDeleteDon't brag about ignorance.
ReplyDeleteDon't brag about loneliness and insignificance. Congratulations. You watch channel 2. You're still no better than anyone else and now you have 2 less hours in life to do something that matters.
DeleteMary O'Halloran is the best one on there. Without her I wouldn't watch the program. She is intelligent and polite. A combination not usually noted in these talk shows. Why is it always assumed that a single woman over 3o must be a lesbian. She is simply single as any one has the right to be.posted by single woman over 30 who is not a lesbian.
ReplyDeleteGwen Grant likes to hear herself talk. Congratulations on being invited to debate a bunch white people. Her commentary really didn't contribute much. Boring...
ReplyDeletetoo bad them drive byers didn't find Yael out jogging instead of Harry Stone.
ReplyDelete1:42...did you read your own comment?.......and yet you have plenty of time to read TKC and stop to make comments!!! That's funny!!
