The Star wonders . . .
"Could Kansas City be next in Missouri to lighten up on lighting up?"
The answer is . . . GRASSROOTS activists, pardon the pun, are soon to roll their own brand of civic involvement up in this town that's much more interesting than this article in The Star . . . Stay Tuned!!!
Too much time is wasted on busting a few weed smokers. Law enforcement as a whole would be better spent solving real crimes.
ReplyDeleteBut you see the powers that be in all stages of enforcing the laws of our lands like being able to bust a weed smoker cause for one is as easy thing to do. I mean who does not know someone who gets high and where does one go to a great party and there aren’t those who are sucking on a fresh rolled joint. So to make a bust is easy work. The prosecutors like them cause they as a rule never have to go to court on a weed case since they are pleaded down or a deal worked out crimes and in the end they get to make their conviction charts to show what good prosecutors they was. So ease up Mr. Prosecutor on those who might be doing the same thing as you are, just relaxing with a joint and kicking back.
You get caught driving while high then your ass should be busted big time. If you and the homes are sitting around in your backyard passing some joints sipping some wine and snacking while bothering nobody, I say enjoy.
Change the laws, this way more cops are free to catch those who murder, beat the ole lady. beat the ole man, rob people since too lazy to work, asshole drivers, red light runners and vane idiots in superfast vanity sports cars zipping everywhere with bimbos they think like them.
Dave is right on this one.
