THE TKC WEEKLY POWER RANKINGS!!!

It's Friday The 13th but we're not scared . . . In fact, we're quite impressed with local politicos, newsies and trends that are nearly as strong as female body builder Terri Turner.

So, let's take a look at some of the strongest showings this week . . .

POLITICOS

1. MO House Rep. Mike Talboy - Behind the scenes, he is the elected official that has the most influence in shaping Kansas City's political scene.

2. MO House Rep. Jason Kander - A huge week of fundraising for Kansas City's favorite political son. Lots of people love Kander and now there are more than six hundred of thousand reasons folks should pay attention to his political ambitions.

3. KCPS School Board Director At-Large Airick West - This week Mr. West earned what was possibly the most important re-election in Kansas City in the past 3 years.

4. School Board Vice President Crispin Rea - A Kansas City rising star who is earning a bit more recognition for so much hard work early in his career.

5. Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo - Firefighters haven't forgotten about powerful betrayal. So many people are wondering if she remembers how she was voted into office.

NEWSIES

Chris Hernandez - Kansas City's most prolific and hardest working reporter seen at City Hall and every other place news is breaking.

Chris Merrill - A lot of fun talking to this AWESOME host of one of the most important local talk shows.

Ryan Kath - At the outset of a career, Kath has shown remarkable skill in getting important scoops and basically ended a bad KCPS deal this week.

DeAnn Smith - Making KCTV5 reporting that much stronger.

All the good folks at The Northeast News - One of our favorite community newspapers that helps put citywide news in perspective for neighborhoods.

KANSAS CITY PRO SPORTS

Aurélien Collin earned the greatest sports story of the week . . . A Parisian In Kansas City

The Royals Hype Machine - More power to them, I don't know how they get people to believe their garbage . . . And they dropped opening day

Chiefs Front Office - So strong at getting Kansas City to forget late season disappointment.

Sean Malto - King Of The Kansas City Skaters

Sprint Center - A powerful reminder that Kansas City Fanboys are stupid . . . Given that the place will never have the pro team this town was promised.

As always, this list has been compiled according to scientific TKC polling and market research data and it's a weekly comprehensive guide to local powerful people.

    1. Hey tony love your blog. I wanted to see if you could come up with some answers for me? Kcpd cops are way to protected. They can stalk and abuse there exwives-exgirlfriends ect. And kc courts and PD protect them. Am I the only person in kc, living in fear of my life. If they do this to people they know . Then what the hell are they doing on the streets?

  3. Thank god no Eric Wesson. Just watched him on WIR and he did piss poorly, as usual. At least he wasn't dressed like a pimp this week.

  10. Dressed like a pimp? I've never seen Wesson dressed like a pimp. I actually think he does a pressty good job. He adds balance to the conversations. Just my thoughts.

  11. White female from Jo Co, you need to get out more because in addition to being illiterate and dumb, Wesson dresses like a pimp. Come over to KCMO east side and get a gander at some pimps.
