Here's why we respect Kansas City Area LGBT Activist Wick Thomas . . . He's a smart guy who advocates tirelessly in Kansas City but his agenda isn't all about fundraising or the next Council vote. In fact, we notice a great deal of concern for human rights overall in the activism of Mr. Thomas.
Even better . . . The Kansas City/Lawrence Ks. LGBT leader isn't afraid to clash and debate with other LGBT advocates and that's just good fun.
This is a recent photo of Wick Thomas on protesting on The Plaza ... Possibly concerning the recent LGBT Day of Silence (which is even more important in 2012 considering controversial legislation in the Missouri House) but definitely bringing the issue of equality to the forefront in Kansas City.
Oh geez, Edith. Did you see that thing?
