Thursday, April 26th, through Friday, April 28th, 2012, Kansas City will be entertained by stunning and talented burlesque performers from near and far at the historic Uptown Theater Complex! During the festival weekend, those interested in peeling back the layers of burlesque will also have the rare opportunity to participate in workshops lead by industry professionals to learn more about the art of burlesque. Come and join us in celebrating the resurgence of burlesque in Kansas City!

Headlining and Featured Performers include: Perle Noire, New Orleans, International Burlesque Queen; Lou Lou D'Ville, Finland; Midnight Martini and Lola Spitfire, Colorado Springs; Lola VanElla & Sammich the Trap, St. Louis, Red Hot Annie, Chicago; Ilsa the Wolf, Tulsa, OK, Queen of the Kansas City Burlesque Festival and much, much more!!!

After selling out two out of the three performances in last year's inaugural festival, the KCBF has expanded to the Uptown Theatre and added a fourth show! The KCBF is now recognized as an international festival with performers traveling from all over the nation and coming in from Finland; Melbourne, Australia and New Zealand!

This show features a wide array of professional burlesque performances from both classic and modern that will entertain and inspire audiences and performers.

Friday, April 27th, 10:30pm - Late Night Stage Strut (sponsored by the Pitch)
Ultra sexy, super sultry, high-energy hoochi coo, satirical strut and much, much more come to life in this late night, flirty fun show!

Saturday, April 28th, 8:00pm - Performance Competition and Showcase
Our panel of judges will select the best performance and crown our 2012 Queen and King of the Kansas City Burlesque Festival! Along with the Performance Competition comes the Main Showcase, highlighting star performers in the professional industry of Burlesque!
