This is just one of many violent assaults by patients on ambulance crews in recent months. How do I know? I work for the ambulance. We have had literally dozens of assaults on our people that have resulted in many days of due to injury, not to mention the cost to the city in medical bills.
ReplyDeleteIt's a little known reality. Unnamed, unprotected, and depending on the honesty and reliability of a 911 caller. In the last 6 months, PCP has made our jobs, fire and police, dramatically more risky.
PCP is a curse on the ER Crews as well. Everything seems to come round again. PCP was a BIG problem in the 70s. BAD stuff!
