BACK TO THE TKC GRIND WITH LUCKY DELUXE IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE EPIC KANSAS CITY BURLESQUE WEEKEND!!!

The adventures of Lucky Deluxe are quickly becoming legend in Kansas City.

Lucky is based out of Los Angeles, CA nowadays but she regularly jets through this cowtown in order to share stories of heartache, career trouble and life on the road for a lady stand-up.



ON A SUNDAY NIGHT she dished to an enthusiastic crowd at The Brick regarding her latest adventures.

She was accompanied by some other comedian that might have been a lesbian or a really angry short dude . . . AS WELL AS local burlesque lady Goldie Goldstein.



The crowd was comprised of friends and new fans who had obviously been drawn to Lucky's act by the AMAZING word of mouth she gets in every town.

As usual, Lucky was raw, hard hitting, sometimes raunchy with a bit of melancholy and certainly captivating as her neo-burlesque act spoke to Kansas City's inglorious past and troubled present. Lucky's local influences are obvious but it's also apparent that LA has sharpened her act, improved her presentation and provided a lot of great new material.

Another nice thing about Lucky's Kansas City shows . . . So many of her Kansas City hottie friends show up in the crowd.

Real Talk: A great many Kansas City Burlesque Ladies were hung over but still enjoying the show on Sunday night.

We were happy to run into Marisa "Madme" MacKay in the audience.



Marissa gave us the low down on the EPIC 2nd Annual Kansas City Burlesque Festival this weekend.

"It has been a whirlwind weekend," Ms. MacKay said. "We've had so much support from our entire community and this weekend was a bigger event than any of us had hoped. It was so much fun. We just want to keep this momentum going throughout the year and put on something even bigger next year." 

The Aftermath of this EPIC Kansas City Burlesque Weekend  . . .

* There were DOUBLE the number of performers this year. More than 50 burlesque babes made their way on stage this weekend in Kansas City as opposed to 25 acts last year.

* For some of the performances this year at The Uptown . . . THE CROWD WAS LARGER THAN 1000 PEOPLE AND TOTALLY SURPASSED THE EXPECTATIONS OF ORGANIZERS!!!

* Keep watching Madame for more Kansas City Burlesque shenanigans and dance AWESOME. This shorty has a great many tricks up her sleeve or hidden in her bustier.
