Early Friday morning starts with tragedy in Kansas City:
On 3/30 at about 1230 AM officers were sent to the 2000 block of Montgall on a reported shooting. When officers arrived they found an adult man dead on the sidewalk. At this time there is no victim ID and no suspect information. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the TIPS Hotline.
It's worth noting that during his election campaign Mayor Sly James often noted that he grew up on Montgall and still felt a connection to that beleaguered part of Kansas City.
I am wearing my Hoodie to protest. Also - to help the New black Panther Party comply with Affirmitvie Action Laws I am submitting my application to be the token cracker honkey red-neck member. Every group needs at least one member of diversity in it.

ReplyDeleteThis is why the Trayvon Martin case has gotten so much media coverage. The white (or whatever he is)on black shooting is so completely rare it is easy as can be to cherry-pick. It really is. It is amazing. White-on-black crime simply almost NEVER happens and when it does it sticks out like a turd in a punchbowl. This murder shouldn't even be "news." Something that happens everyday isn't uncommon. Black-on-black and black-on-white crime is at insane levels yet because black people are involved at an overwhelming level it is not allowed to be talked about. How did people with so little real influence get so much power? Few of them have jobs where they can have any influence. They can't speak with their wallets, they don't have any money. I don't get it. People need to quit being scared of them because they don't have any real control, only perceived. What an entire race of violent hypocrites.

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting. Now up to 115 homicides in the eleven months since Sly James became mayor--compared to 98 in the twelve months before he became mayor. Memo to local members of the "Racism Industry": More than enough young black men dying here in KCMO--you don't have to spend time and effort capitalizing on the terrible tragedy that befell Trayvon Martin and his family.
