Let's all get a hoodie on. Wait, it's black-on-black crime and we can't profit from it? Never mind. Can't be bothered to work up some false outrage at what goes on in our neighborhood every day.
ReplyDeletefucked up yo.
ReplyDelete1021 said it before I could. So true.
ReplyDelete"Bang bang, I shot you down"
ReplyDelete"Bang bang, you hit the ground"
"Bang bang, that awful sound"
"Bang bang, I used to shoot you down"
Killa City.
ReplyDeleteSetting new records in crime.
10:21 is exactly right.
ReplyDeleteAnd just where are all those folks who were at the Plaza rally on Monday?
Looking forward to the weekend.
And there will continue to be two murders every week in KCMO for the rest of the year.
Making believe you care is even worse than not caring at all.
I'm with 10:21 also.
ReplyDeleteSOS & 10:21 Spot on again! While I'm disgusted about Trayvon Martin and his situation; I'm more concerned about what is happening (or not happening) right here is Kansas City. The focus still remains elsewhere than right at home. Another distraction. I do hope that justice is serviced in Treyvon's case but come on... it's been a shooting a day here in Kansas City. Pretending to care IS worse than not caring. All the vigils in the world won't even come close to resolving the real problem.
ReplyDeleteThe "victim" (snicker) is 21 year old Damon D. Price.
ReplyDeleteIs their ANY surprise that the photo used of him on the Stars website is a mugshot of him?
He was facing multiple felony charges for armed criminal action and discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle. He was free on a $15,000 cash only bond.
Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for posting. This homicide makes it 114 homicides since Sly James became mayor eleven months ago--in the twelve months before he became mayor we had 98 homcides. Not looking good for cowtown. Take care. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans
ReplyDeleteHey Ernest. Tony is his FIRST name.
