Local media power brokers discuss the news of the week . . .
KCPT - Kansas City Week in Review: March 30, 2012
As always Nick Haines does an AWESOME job of leading the discussion . . . It's worth jumping ahead to take a look at their Downtown Toy Train chat . . . These local media mavens might be pros at putting out the news but, surprisingly, only Jack Cashill captures the skepticism of the public when talking about the street car pipe dreams of Kansas City politicos.
Nevertheless . . . This week's episode offers a saucy smorgasbord of opinion from people who seem confident with the notion that they're smarter than all of their readers.
Cashill is ape-shit crazy
ReplyDeleteI think Jack Cashill makes a lot of sense.
ReplyDeleteNo, he's right. Cashill is ape-shit crazy.
ReplyDeleteNobody's perfect. He has his good points and his bad.
ReplyDeleteThe show was 100% more interesting because Cashill was on it. He helps bring up the show when it is pulled down by Sanchez and Helling. Sanchez contributes nothing, as usual, because she has nothing to contribute. Helling is a know-it-all with a perpetual 5:00 shadow. Stacy Cameron did a good job, but Cashill was the smart phone. You can disagree with the guy, but he is smart, and is more educated than any other person who appears on that panel.
ReplyDeleteJakc Cashill is neither intelligent nor educated. The mark of intellect is a forming a CONSIDERED opinion based on FACT and remaining open to revision.
ReplyDeleteCashill specializes in unexamined opinions based upon bad "data" which he then loudly and stubbornly holds forth upon.
In short, he is a lout.
Mr. Tony, What a waste of airtime to have Jack Cashill on KCPT. Uninformed blabbermouth extraordinaire. He offers nothing but hate and heartache. ... God love him. I watched a few bits, fast forwarded past him and the elderly lady. Then, halfway through, I just jumped up and thought "No, I am not going to waste MY time" I deleted the show, opened a bottle of wine and enjoyed my evening immensely.
ReplyDeleteCashill needs to be let loose to rant on about how everything is a conspiracy.
ReplyDeleteHelling is a lazy know-it-all waste of air time masquerading as unbiased when in reality, he is ALWAYS doing someone's bidding. Likes to listen to himself talk.
Stacy Cameron needs to slow down and not get so worked up because he comes off as a young Jack Cashill with more spark and energy, but just as wacko.
And Mary Sanchez? She just needs to stay off tv to have any hope of milking her career at the Star to retirement.
5:46, you might not like Cashill's opinions, but the guy has a Ph.D. from Purdue University, so he's hardly uneducated.
ReplyDeleteHelling is a dog. So is Mary Sanchez.
At least Cameron shows up and has some energy.
I'd still rather watch WIR than that Ruckus crap.
