Kansas Secretary Of State earns the Cover of Governing Magazine for his costly and mostly ineffective crusade against undocumented and mostly brown people.
Kris Kobach Tackles Illegal Immigration . . . There's the mistaken implication that he's "defining" laws but most of the time his work has been struck down and left townships and municipalities feeling used by the exorbitant cost of pointless legal fights.
And let's not forget about complaints that he isn't making his day job a priority.
Still, I won't begrudge the dude a magazine cover. And in this issue he manages to keep his suit on . . .
