Let's start Saturday Morning with a digital feast at the behest of Kansas City's Mayor Sly James.

Mind you, this isn't sponsored content . . . It's more of a tribute to Papa Lew's - A Kansas City Culinary Institution.

Also, I recently noticed that one of their coupons is RATHER POLITICALLY RELEVANT!!!

TAKE A LOOK AT THE MAYOR'S ROUND TABLE SAMPLER!!!

It all looks so good but I think I'd have to go with GENARO'S COUNTRY FRIED WINGS!!! Big portions but remarkably mild.

Don't get me wrong, McGurk's Steak Grilled Papa Chops sound tempting but I worry that they might be too tender for a more traditional Kansas City palate.

Tamela's Tasty Green Beans sound good too but I totally heard they were soon to get rinsed down at the Water Dept.

I can't help but notice that this selection is kinda rich for our Kansas City Mayor who claims to be trying to lose weight . . . I guess it's all about portion control.

There's still a lot to debate about the Kansas City budget and trimming the fat in this cowtown . . . But for the moment, I can't help but commend this town's Mayor on his restaurant endorsement choice.

    Looks like both are just more PR from 12th and Oak.

    Looks good, but it expired last September.

    And Chuck, Papa Lews is on the east side, has good soul food, and fed 500 or so needy folks at Christmas.

    Papa LEWS FOOD IS Downright nasty. The owners,son pictured with Syl, is his campaign treasuer and he also is,a leader in the recall of Reed.

    Papa Lee's feeds $500 people at Chjristmas because they were paid for years by Sly James and now the city and other partners. Other soul food restaurants feed the hungry, homeless and adopt families without the media and the mayor not one day a year put 365 days a year without assistance from Sly James.

    Mayor Sly, has promoted Papa Lew's since his election. Papa Lew's, has the worst food of all the soul food restaurants in the city. Also, Marvin Lyman is behind the effort to recall Jermaine Reed.
