TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY SNOW FAIL!!! LITTLE MORE THAN A DUSTING BRINGS THE METRO TO A STANDSTILL!!!!

Holy Hannah Teter, Kansas City has failed another snow challenge.
Right now . . .
KANSAS CITY SUCCUMBS TO FEAR AND PANIC OVER LESS THAN A FEW INCHES OF SNOW!!! SCHOOLS CANCELED AND THE MORNING COMMUTE SUCKS!!!
Sadly, there's yet another reason to hate Kansas City.
The level of local morning snow fail is typically something Mid-westerners used to mock when when it happened to people in warmer climates.
Here's a preliminary link collection . . .
Schools Close As Snow Blankets KC Metro
Traffic moving slow on snow packed roads
Snow, Slick Streets Slow Some Metro Buses
Winter Weather Advisory In Effect Until 6 P.M. Mon.
SNOW DAY: Monday Morning School Closings
So . . . No matter how much we like him . . .
MAYOR SLY DOESN'T GET HIS SNOW REMOVAL VICTORY TODAY GIVEN THE DESPERATE SITUATION ON LOCAL STREETS AND ALL OF THE SCHOOL CLOSINGS!!!
AND HERE'S ANOTHER TKC EXCLUSIVE . . .

WE HEARD MAYOR SLY WAS PLANNING TO DO A VICTORY LAP AROUND KANSAS CITY TODAY REGARDING SNOW REMOVAL AND NOW HIS GRAND PLAN IS SORTA SPOILED GIVEN SNOW PANIC!!!
Also . . . KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS proven correct about KCMO trucks standing around useless will make my snow day just a bit brighter.
More news on the way . . . For now, I'm just kinda disappointed that fear over a few flakes has stopped Kansas City.
DEVELOPING . . .
It really is slick out there. Be careful.
ReplyDeleteJust head west and cross State Line Road and you'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the snow plow drivers should call in with the blue flu like the godlike fire fighters.
ReplyDelete5:35. Colorado? Kansas roads are shitty. Who are you trying to fool.
ReplyDeleteDickhead . . . most schools cancelled today because both teachers and students wanted a day off and this was the perfect excuse. Roads are probably shitty, but I'd be willing to bet schools did not close on account of road conditions.
ReplyDeleteThe roads are treacherous!
ReplyDeleteWe can't go to school!
Let's go shopping!

ReplyDeleteI will agree with what you wrote earlier, we won't see a plow on side streets for days.
ReplyDeleteYour such a Debbie Downer... Schools out because most districts get 4 to 6 snow days that doesn't count against them, so why not give the kids a break.
ReplyDeleteHey Assholes, Sly can't make it stop snowing.
ReplyDeleteSnow removal will be poor.
ReplyDeleteSly has to save money where you can. His billion dollar spending is killing families.
He has to make a few Benjamin's for his great ideas. Lack of snow removal is the perfect place.
An asshole contractor with a snow blade on his pickup is blowing through the neighborhood just south of St. Elizabeth's school at a high rate of speed. Someone is gonna get hurt, and he is doing a shit job clearing a lane "to boot"
ReplyDelete3 inches causes KC to stop and take notice.
ReplyDeleteLife is good.
Life is good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mayor "Feel Good" ... FRO NOTHING!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh how we are beginning to yearn from the other Snow Mayor, Smartwithnothinghouser :(
Just kidding... It is a fair bet to say that well over 75% or more of the local residents are more than glad that he's gone!!!
Bye bye Funk, we were happy to see you go!!!
Tonys just mad cause all the kids on the hill kicked his ass when he came outside to go sledding!
ReplyDeleteThe schools closed because they hadn't used a snow-day all year. It looked like a bad road day coming and leaving. Why take the risk and hurt the average daily attendance figures?
ReplyDeleteWow haters! I sure have seen a lot of cops and firemen doing their jobs today while you all are sitting in a warm office or fast food restaurant complaining. See, they do jobs you wussies wouldn't think of or have the balls to do. Cars Still don't slow down for them while they are on the highway risking their lives for people they don't know. Go drink your mocha latte now you bed wetters!
ReplyDeleteprofound.
ReplyDeleteYep, cops and fire fighters only MF in the whole city with dangerous jobs. Godlike.
ReplyDelete4:33, don't slip on the greasy floor from the tater tot fryer. You have to drop the tots in easy so the grease won't splash. Sonic rules and regs aren't that hard.
ReplyDeleteOur grandson claimed "unfair" that the SM School District did not close. Not one snow day this year, and he is steamed.
ReplyDeleteSomebody told him that we were expecting 10 inches, and he is looking forward to it.
If school children voted, they would all vote in the KCMO idiots who cant clear the streets.
Kansas stays winning. KCMO stays losing! How hard is it to clear roads... The drivers must be retarded! Typical Kansas City style... I'm sure all of the snow removal contracts were given to insiders friends, relatives and family members. Huge payouts for no work! Meanwhile the respectable, working class foots the bill and struggles to put food on the table. Kansas Shitty Misery!
ReplyDeleteHey, Mayor? Don't f'ing worry about it! It will melted in the next few days. Thanks for nothing. A few inches of snow... Nothing like the perpetual blizzards we had last year! You got a light winter and still can't do your job! Good luck on getting re-elected.
