HORRIBLE Kansas City Trade rumors persist @ STL Today:
Chiefs coach indicates interest in Manning
Coach Romeo Crennel: "With a talent like that, I would be crazy not to consider it if he were available. I'll leave it at that."
Once again, the typical late season implosion endured by the Chiefs becomes easier to explain with that kind of insights. Strangely, all but the most lame Chiefs fans and women who pretend to like football completely agree with me on this one.
Kansas City has enough QB problems without Peyton Manning's. Like most pro-sports talk, let's just hope KC is once again being used a bargaining chip.
Then again, if this trade goes through I would also like to offer Scott Pioli for Playboy babe Jaime Faith Edmondson.
Good Lord I hope they don't go down that road again!
ReplyDelete... shows how much (I mean little) you know about sports, T. The Chiefs aren't going to "trade" for Peyton Manning. If the Colts release him he becomes a free agent, which means he can sign with any team he wants.
ReplyDeleteThat said, Peytie Pie's arm is about as strong as your reporting skills. Can't throw to his left; can't throw more than 30 yards; and can't throw with much velocity. Why in the f*** would any team want to take a chance on him?
Tony is right on both counts: {eyton and The Lady. Peyton is way too big a gamble. Given his NECK problems, you have to wonder when is enough, enough? Risk paralysis for what?
ReplyDeleteAll Payton's family has to do is read about the Chief's Offensive Line -- or lack of one -- and they will talk Payton out of it because they do not want to see him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
ReplyDelete9:18... best point of all, especially on the blind side. ouch.
ReplyDeleteNice crotch. Bet it's sweaty.
ReplyDeleteLets see 7:41, the last time we went down that road Joe Montana took us to the AFC championship! Yeah, bad move.
ReplyDelete12:22,,, let's see, last time we went down that road we had damn good offensive line, one of the best defenses in the NFL and a future HOF quarterback who didn't have damn near broken neck already.
ReplyDelete12:57,, let's see. We're in the worst and most winable division in football. We get the one of the best tailbacks and safetiies in the league back this year. Our current QB starter made the Pro Bowl with that o-line. We have the opportunity to pick up one of the very best at his position in the last decade, which also happens to be the most inportant position on the field. If his health checks out Dr. 12:57, he provides an opportunity for good things. Typical KC downer attitude. Is this you Tony?
ReplyDeleteI'm SURE that crotch is sweaty.
