Because houses are vacant they need to be demolished? What a waste of resources! Houses are vacant because this city favors it's special interest groups more than it's homeowners. This is sad news.
ReplyDeleteThere's not enough money in all the banks in KCMO to tear down all the vacant houses and commercial buildings on the east side.
ReplyDelete7:14 is right. There's been no serious code enforcement or a functioning housing department in KCMO for decades.
Lots of attention to the All Star Game, streetcar plan, and downtown hotel, though.
A city that works.
