Yesterday a tempting offer confronted MO. State Rep. Jonas Hughes.
According to The Missouri House Journal and several insiders . . .
KANSAS CITY STATE REP. JONAS HUGHES WAS OFFERED COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS BY THE MISSOURI GOP!!!
Specifically, outgoing GOP Speaker Tilley was going to allow Rep. Hughes a bit more participation in the House during his last session. The offer comes after Hughes was stripped of his Committee Assignments.
Jeff City insiders know that there was A LOT at stake in this decision for Rep. Hughes.
What did he do?
In a letter he sent out yesterday, MO State Rep. Jonas Hughes decided against taking the tempting offer from the Missouri GOP and instead vowed to stand with fellow Democrats and work on regaining Committee assignments.
This bit of soul searching caused a minor stir in The Missouri House among Kansas City politicos but the hope is that Rep. Hughes and Missouri Democrat Party Leadership can now move past a tense start to the session.
Just another deadbeat who spends his time "being important" by getting their pictures taken with people like Ben Stein.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Jonas was conscious long enough to make any decision.
There is no such thing as a "Democrat Party." The formal name is "Democratic Party."
ReplyDeleteWhy is that so difficult Tony_ Kansas City?
6:05, that's just darla j rubbing off on him. She is his 15 min of stardom so he's become her little chiwawa...
ReplyDeleteHughes knows his slim chance of re-election would be reduced to none if he flopped to the GOP.
ReplyDeleteI always knew you had to be a bottom feeder to be a Republican, but this provides proof.
ReplyDeleteShow up for fucking work, you stupid lazy nigger.
ReplyDeletesuch harsh words as, "show up for work you lazy N....."
ReplyDeleteGlad I am white
ReplyDelete'Wish everyone was....Oh, how I wish.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Jonas and Craig Bland should get together!
ReplyDeleteThere's some money just for the taking.
If keeping appointments was a requirement to hold office Skippy Sanders would have been sent home years ago. It is just arrogance.
ReplyDeleteWho paid Hughes' debts?
ReplyDeleteWhy?
ReplyDeleteWhat a worthless display. Hughes should be ashamed of himself. He is bringing his family name down in a major way.
ReplyDelete4:18, apparently no one yet. Watch for impending bankruptcy.
