At the risk of complimenting Kansas City's Starship Gentrification . . . This seems kinda cool:
Sci-Fi Spectacular with George Takei
Details from the KC Symphony site:
"Join guest conductor Jack Everly of the Indianapolis Symphony on a journey through space and time. Travel to the edge of the universe with music from the biggest and best science fiction TV shows and movies, including Avatar, Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Special guest George Takei (Sulu from Star Trek) provides dramatic narration…oh my!"
Unfortunately, because it's K-PAC . . . I'm pretty sure the prices are out of this work. HAR . . . Tip your space waitresses.
for a fag, he's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteLittle kids shouldn't be allowed to watch any TV show with quars in it.
ReplyDeleteFor a fag chink he's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, 1:52, what's a "quar"?
Lame insults but I think he was trying to be smart and referenced quarks.
ReplyDeleteA Quark is an elementary particle and a fundamental constituent of matter.
george takei doing "dramatic" narration??? good grief. guess they couldn't afford patrick stewart, leonard nimoy, or anyone else with a decent voice.
ReplyDeleteNimoy's voice is shot, Patrick Stewart is in the UK doing Shakespeare..and, I checked..tickets are sold out.I guess all the "rich white people" decided that's where they wanted to spend their money this weekend. And, Kauffman has NOTHING to do with the show. It's rented the hall, that's all. Get over your "rich people's"hangup.
ReplyDeleteLeave George alone. I'm a rice queen.
