A KCTV5 report notes KCPD Chief Forte wouldn't "discuss specifics but said it is an investigative tool that has helped the department's officers."

Weird, I agree with the Supreme Court on this!
ReplyDeletePut them on cop cars see how many trips they make to Ballgames, to the mall, etc. with their taxpayer "take home" police cars.
ReplyDeleteOr put them on our elected leaders and find out where their mistresses live.
ReplyDelete5:32, agree 100%. I actually saw a KCMO Police car at cub scout camp in Bonner Springs Kansas for three days! WTF
ReplyDelete"Now you have another set of laws that you have to abide by and we have to adhere to"
ReplyDeleteNo, actually they just have to abide by the original set of laws they swore to uphold and protect, the United States Constitution.
Those coppers are on the leading edge of technology. Red light cameras, GPS. Can drones be far behind? I agree with all the above, we need to know what are taxpayer funded employees are doing with the company cars. And whose making a buck selling them all this crap?
ReplyDeleteSeeing as how the push is coming to make GPS standard on all new vehicles in the near future, what will all of you have to gripe about then? "Boo hoo my car was stolen and the police were able to locate it in 5 min because of GPS technology." Oh wait, that'd be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteIf you're not breaking the law, then why does it matter? If you are, then you deserve to be punished. Simple as that.
Another reason our country is as fucked up as it is. Keep giving criminals more rights and protection. Judges are a joke and so is our judicial system.
ReplyDelete1233 What a CLOD, someone actually, looking forward to this era of BIG BROTHER. It does not surprise me that you seem to be saying you have a problem with your car being stolen.
ReplyDelete12:33 your car will not be located in 5 minutes no matter what GPS device it has. A friend found his stolen auto a couple of months later, called the police and watched an hour later as the criminals got in and drove off. The KCPD will not respond to property theft.
ReplyDeleteEverything people do is on camera now. To all the complaining..,,get over it. Technology is here to stay.
ReplyDelete3:01--
ReplyDeleteEver heard of On-Star dipshit? The police located my dad's Chevy 10 minutes after it was stolen because of that. If you don't want "big brother" that makes us safer, then move out into a tent in the woods. Quit being such a pussy about technology.
