FOX4: "In an effort to help cut down on the violence and arrest criminals, the department has begun sending two majors immediately to the scene of violent crimes. The majors have the authority to call in more resources immediately following the crime if necessary. Before, officers would often have to wait hours or even the next day to have the additional resources."

The police under Chief Forte' have redoubled their efforts addressing violence and homicides, particularly on the east side.
ReplyDeleteWhat's missing is any real change in the level of participation and help by the residents.
Without public involvement in helping to provide for their own safety, community policing is the sound of one hand clapping.
These "leaders" need to stop dialing for dollars and empower their own neighborhoods. Or get out of the way and make room for some people who will.
WOW, I guess the New Crime Plan is not working.
ReplyDeleteI've got a new crime plan...Put thousands of guns in the center of the city and pull all the good folks out of the city. Give the dirtbags a free for all for 24 hours. After that nuke the downtown area and then build your fucking train you bunch of morons.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is, the 2 majors they are sending can barely tie their shoes without help and wouldnt know how to supervise an ant farm, let alone a major investigation scene.
ReplyDeleteSend two dip-shits to the scene.
