Strangely, I just found a message of Kansas City hope . . . Here's a surprising OFF-RECORD statement regarding so much upheaval among this town's most powerful and influential labor union.
Check it:
"There's a lot of excitement about new leadership and an opportunity for a new start. I can tell that people are hopeful about the possibility of better communication and the potential for real change from business as usual."
Regime change can be tumultuous but it's interesting to hear that one of the forces that has shaped local politics is making such a smooth transition.
