KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS CONFIRMED!!! PLAZA MERCHANTS RUN FOR COVER IN THE AFTERMATH OF FLASH MOB YEAR 2011!!!

The Star reports from presser copy: Country Club Plaza losing Origins, J.Jill
Remember that AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS reported AT LEAST two businesses moving out following the Flash Mob Hot Mess . . . Months before it became a "news" story . . .
What does this mean . . .
RECENT VIOLENCE, ROBBERY AND RIOTING NOW HAVE SHOWN A DEFINITE IMPACT ON KANSAS CITY'S COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA!!!
A Plaza curfew didn't save jobs or businesses . . . The problem of perception and Kansas City's image as a violent place continues to impact our economic growth and people who believe they aren't connected to the horrific, local murder rate.
DEVELOPING . . .
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
ReplyDeleteMerchants move in, merchants move out.
ReplyDeleteToo bad we don't have more local businesses.
And alonzo's prediction of the flash mobs that didn't happen either. being cool like he is can be SUCH a curse.
ReplyDeleteAnd some merchants are encouraging it for their own ends. It's no secret that Cinematk wants out of their lease. Highwoods won't let them out (why would they?). So....Cinemark dropped their ticket prices (ever ask yourself why that's the cheapest movie ticket in town) and removed their age restrictions (always thought those made that theater better) in order to "encourage" Highwoods to reconsider.
ReplyDeleteThis news on the plaza is a joke. Has nothing to do with flash mobs.
ReplyDeletewe laugh and dance while we all go broke.
ReplyDeleteKansas City, MO is a sinking ship... Why is it that Wanndotte County is so much better. Schools are decent, taxes match to services provided, major shopping districts thriving, plenty of quality houses (with acreage if you want) and a relatively quiet City government. I'm following the yellow brick road... Too much non-sense in KCMO.
ReplyDeleteWhite flight... it's only right.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all you contribute black Kansas City! Thanks Gwen! Thanks to the Curls family! Thanks Eric Wesson! Thanks Clinton Adams!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sitting by and doing nothing while the precious culture you protect descends into hate and chaos. Thanks for profiting from the misery of others.
Thanks for nothing.
The Plaza is a has been. Too much crime, too much traffic, and way too expensive.
ReplyDelete11:15 asks a really good question: Why is KCK doing so much better in so many ways than KCMO?
ReplyDeleteBecause they have a city government that actually provides services like public safety, water, schools, and other basics, to their residents.
KCMO has insiders, consultants, racial extortion, interest groups, wannabees, developers, and hangers-on, all way more interested in how important they are and how much money they can grab from the taxpayers.
Who would want to be a part of it?
I live in KCK and never go to the Plaza anymore. Too expensive for what you get.
ReplyDeleteCurfew didn't help?
ReplyDeleteThere wasn't another major mob scene on the Plaza after the curfew was in place.
Also, it's normal that a couple of businesses close in the spring. TKC doesn't mention the more new businesses that have opened.
The Plaza is the new Bannister Mall! Hahahahahaha!!!!!
