Kansas City Water Infrastructure FAIL continues . . . Remember that we've had more Water Main breaks this year than any other in recent memory. Here's a headline on the subject:
KCMO Struggling to Keep Up with Broken Water Mains
To wit . . .
LET'S REMEMBER THAT KANSAS CITY HAS BEEN WITHOUT A WATER DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR FOR MORE THAN A YEAR!!!
While hiring a new guy for the full time job might not solve the problem . . . The absence of a permanent director for so long CLEARLY demonstrates the City lacking any focus to deal with local water issues.
DEVELOPING . . .
They finally fixed the leak at 74th & Oak. Hooray. It's no longer slip and slide there.
ReplyDeleteActually, it's just the LATEST year of the busted water main. Why would you do something boring like hire a direstor of the ater department or fix pipes when there's a new taxpayer-funded downtown hotel to build?
ReplyDeleteThe mayor hasn't got time for this crap.
ReplyDeleteHe has to run the schools.
I love the squirrel Pic. Tony, your getting better at your visuals, keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteViva La Art Revolucion!!
GOOD LUCK GETTING COMPENSATION FROM THE CITY FOR THE DAMAGE
