Kansas City Area Sears And Kmart Workers Wait For News Of Inevitable Layoffs . . .

There are five full-service Sears stores and 10 Kmart stores in Greater Kansas City, the KC Biz Journal reports that (after a steady losses) the Sears Holding Corp. is soon to announce layoffs that MIGHT include the Kansas City workers.

In the long term, outdated department stores don't stand a chance in this new economic epoch AND Big Box stores are quickly following that pattern as well.

  2. It's really a shame that fucking K-Mart has just plain ruined the Sears brand and ethic. I recall when Sears was quality, with Kenmore, Craftsman and such. Now, it's just more K-Mart crap. Too bad...

  3. Wow, and they were hiring just a couple weeks ago for Christmas. Dude, you cannot get ahead when you rely on others (employers). Fuck it all! The system is a bust. You can only rely on yourself. I am beginning to see why people follow Ayn Rand when I am self-described "progressive". It's a damn shame. Fuck it. They're all crooks; every last one of them mother fuckers.

I've been graduated from college for almost four years and it's been the same year after year: interviews that lead to nowhere. I think some of these employers that advertise on Career Builder and so forth just keep applicants for future use and pretend to hire so that bureaucracy can fudge statistics. It's a shell game. God, I hate humans.

Fuck it. Time to be a whore or start my own trade.
