Have to admit it, a rather neat article about JoCo "over-parenting" shows us how the Golden Ghetto is ruining American culture as well.

    She brings up some good points but funny how the other parents commenting are to stupid or head strong to admit what they are doing is probably wrong.

    It would be nice for all, including the kids, if the cult of the child were over. But, as she point out, the reason is mostly selfish. Your kid can (maybe) pay back he student loans but there are no loans (so far) for your retirement. Cult of the child replaced by cult of the self.
