My original title for this post was "Dropping a huge load in Downtown Kansas City" but I'm trying to keep this place classy.
Nevertheless . . .
It's impossible not to be impressed with the sheer size of a military aircraft recently making a smooth, entry into a tiny landing strip in Downtown Kansas City. BLUSH.

Juxtaposition . . . Parking my (mom's) tiny car in the urban core isn't nearly as graceful.
Tony? Do you ALWAYS make comments on things that you obviously know NOTHING about?
ReplyDelete"... into a tiny landing strip in Downtown Kansas City."
Tony? That runway is far from "tiny". The runway is 6,827 long and 150 feet wide. That is considered a major/heavy duty/use runway.
A "fully loaded" C-17 is able to make a safe landing in 2,700 feet. An "empty" c-17 can be airborne in as little as 3,000 feet.
So tell us Tony? Why do you think the downtown airport runway is "tiny"?
Bitchy comment. worthless.
