Kansas City is one of the TOP 10 EMPTIEST CITIES IN THE UNITED STATES ACCORDING TO CNBC!!!
Here's some of what the financial news network notes:
"KCMO: Rental vacancy rate: 11%
Homeowner vacancy rate: 3.7%
Although the Kansas City, Mo., metropolitan area has seen rental vacancy rates drop significantly — from 17.2 percent in the second quarter of 2010 — homeowner vacancies have gone up by nearly 30 percent over the same time."

A good test is to go downtown on a Saturday morning. It's just you and the papers blowing around from the night before.
ReplyDeleteOh, and maybe one of the P&L District beautiful people sleeping it off in a stairwell.
Vacant homes. Homeless people. Why?

ReplyDeleteLOL That E-tax sure paid off.
ReplyDeleteThe fact KC is Empty is a real surprise to anyone? WTF its empty because the city government SUCKS!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd it continues to bleed homeowners. The city claims it treats it's residents like customers; instead treated like welfare recipients and often times those folk get better treatment than the working class that anchor the neighborhoods. KC suffers from habitually poor leadership. About to jump this sinking ship myself...
ReplyDeleteyou really are pathetic
ReplyDeleteWho would choose to live in KC?
ReplyDeleteWhat has it got to offer? Diversity?
Diversity means your next door neighbors don't speak the same language as you do, and they're killing goats in the backyard.
Why are minority areas of KC so dirty, covered in trash and graffiti?
ReplyDeleteWhat does lack of education and low income have to do with being unable to bend over and pick up trash?
Looks like a character flaw to me.
