In much the same way that we admire Kat Dennings and her cleavage as seen in the latest issue of GQ. Let's focus on the good things and enjoy this Halloween weekend in Kansas City.
All week we JUSTIFIABLY criticize and complain but there's more than enough good stuff happening IN SPITE of so much local FAIL.
For instance . . .
New KCPD Police Chief Darryl Forté seems to be aggressive about fighting crime and he's bringing what seems to be a new energy to the Dept. that MIGHT help curb local violence and homicide. We'll see . . .
Admittedly, The Chiefs and their Hobo Coach Haley have been lucky and done okay for themselves against HORRENDOUS competition . . . The eyes of the nation will be upon Kansas City's excuse for a football team on Monday Night Football and maybe they might catch another break considering the Chargers are badly wounded and struggling with injuries. If not . . . It'll still be fun to make fun of the fanboys and their premature early season Superbowl Celebration. Skepticism ALWAYS Stays Winning!!!
The Irwin Family continues acting strange but it seems like the public continues to show interest in due process, the mechanics of criminal investigation and the life of a local baby. That can't be a bad thing or maybe just speaks to CSI as better entertainment than the Reality TV media circus.
And while we've talked Occupy KC in great detail . . . There's still more to report, expect and deconstruct . . .

We're looking a little threadbare over here.
Chief Forte' IS doing a much more serious job working to roll up the thugs on the east side. Now if some of the "leaders" in the black community would work to encourage cooperation and responsbile reporting instead of complaining about harrassment and profiling and help get the majority of good residents east of Troost to help the PD get the terrorists out of their neighborhoods, maybe we could get somewhere.
