The memorial is constructed of interlocking Tilt-Up concrete panels, creating a memorial that provides shade and shelter for its visitors while at the same time provides a significant amount of transparency. The exterior walls of the memorial have a rough texture provided by local aggregate present in the concrete mixture. The interior walls of the memorial are highly polished concrete providing a backdrop for plaques that include the list of Missourians, by military branches, who died in the war. Memorial pavers are available for companies, individuals and families to honor veterans. Visit the Missouri Korean War Veterans Memorial website for details.
