TKC Fun Fact . . . I don't trust anybody who doesn't admire Jordan Carver, even begrudgingly.
More importantly . . .
Check out this month's issue of Camp KC
The 18th annual Show-Me State Rodeo was just held over the Labor Day weekend and was a great success. There are amazing cowboys and cowgirls who come from all over the country to compete in this rodeo, as well as our own local people who compete. There are gay rodeos all over the country and many of the Kansas City people also travel to other rodeos throughout the year.
More from Camp KC fans:
The big story this Saturday, Sept. 10, is the 3rd Annual Latino Gay Pride. Mario Canedo organizes this. He's a local DJ with a Spanish language radio station but also works in outreach to the Latino community at the Good Samaritan Project. It's fine for families to attend. You see many Latino families there and no one can deny the high energy of the Latino drag queens lip syncing to Spanish language dance music!
More info from Kansas City's LGBT media source of record:
And the 7th Annual AIDS Bicycle Challenge is this Sunday, Sept. 11.
Fox4 did a segment on it this morning and it was the cover story of our August issue of Camp.
All that and even more Local, Live, Late-Breaking LGBT news . . .
