Let's take a look at some rather interesting suburban propaganda: "Woodside Village is a proposed multi-use development designed as a walkable town center integrating the Woodside Health & Tennis Club, 330 luxury residences, 35,000 square feet of retail shops and an energized public realm where citizens can gather and strengthen community bonds at civic events such as a weekly farmer's market."
That's nice but that's not all . . . Here's even more "Woodside über alles" talking points: TEN Ways Woodside Village Benefits the City of Westwood
LUCKILY, LOCAL BLOGGER WETZEL HAS ALREADY TAKEN APART THE TAX ABATED DETAILS OF THE PROJECT WITH A VENGEANCE!!!
I just think the pictures are pretty and I wanted you d-bags to get a better look.
Nevertheless, with a GLOBAL WORLD RECESSION IN FULL SWING AND ABOUT TO HIT THE U.S. HARD THIS WEEK . . . It's HIGHLY DOUBTFUL any of this stuff will come to pass and it's really just another high-priced fantasy featuring suburban bliss and a rapidly disappearing and unattainable lifestyle.
Those cabanas and some SPF 30 are an effective buffer against any double dip recession.
ReplyDeleteHighly what? You are tripping over your own words, you stupid Fuck.
ReplyDeleteHighly doubtful. Read closer and calm down.

It's a DEPRESSION!! Tony is RIGHT, again.
ReplyDeleteNice edit. You are still a stupid fuck.
ReplyDeleteWestwood has some of the greatest benefits for it's citizens. We have a great city hall, our own police department, great city maintenance and good roads right now.
ReplyDeleteWestwood also has the finest medical facility and various churches. Unfortunately, none pay taxes.
This is a development that is revenue for the city. If there is no business development, the city faces the possibiity of raising taxes on the citizens to pay for the great services.
I personally don't care for the structure as Westwood has less sterile buildings. but, this is the wave of the future.
so before anyone bags this idea.....think of the consequences. Where will the revenue come from?
No Tony, I fear it will come to pass. Pols have a way of ignoring their base and reality.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous (8/8: 2:51), I don't know where the revenue will come from. Where will the jobs come from?
