P&L is the same way. They do that all the time down there. My friend got arrested for standing on the sidewalk waiting for a ride that according to security just didnt get there quick enough to keep him from going to jail

ReplyDeleteAs usual, the aclu is wrong again! If you are on or in a city street, you are subject to citation/arrest at any time by an officer per ordinance. Once people enter a roadway, they become a hazard to motorists and themselves. Add alcohol to the mix, and obviously that makes it matters worse. Westport is a private entertainment area. (Private property who can refuse the right to service). Read the law before running your smack. Besides, the "People of color" as you put it, (which I am assuming your are talking about America's Pub crowd), are NOT the problem when Westport closes....It's the tree hugging, hippie, liberal douchebags that think they don't have to comply with the police officers....
