TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! TOP FIVE REASONS KANSAS CITY'S GROWING P&L DISTRICT BOYCOTT STAYS WINNING!!!

Kansas City crime and homicide is a much more important topic . . .
HOWEVER, CHALLENGING P&L DISTRICT DISCRIMINATION UNWITTINGLY SUPPORTED BY KANSAS CITY TAXPAYERS IS ALSO AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE FIGHT AGAINST LOCAL SUPREMACY!!!
To wit . . . Check the TOP FIVE REASONS THAT AN AWESOME P&L DISTRICT BOYCOTT WILL WIN . . .
1. THE P&L DISTRICT IS NEGOTIATING FROM A POSITION OF WEAKNESS - Let's not forget these are (rich) folks who have their hand out to Kansas City every year and need to be SUBSIDIZED in order to exist. It's the same ENTITLEMENT CULTURE that so-called Conservatives complain about only this time it's wealthy white people doing it in a manner that's far more insidious.
2. DISCRIMINATION ISN'T COOL - As much as reactionary old school white people love to discriminate . . . It's just not what's hot in the streets right now. Anny Entertainment District must at least ATTEMPT to speak to the values, trends and ethos of their clientele. In this regard, P&L has failed their customers.
3. THE P&L DISTRICT ALREADY STAYS LOSING - Don't hate me for being a rather brilliant strategist . . . With so many biz closings and bad press the place is already BLEEDING RED INK . . . The P&L District was an easy target and if they're smart they should reverse this misguided policy immediately out of a simple sense of self-preservation.
4. TKC SUPPORTS LOCALLY OWNED BIZ - With so many local places to support and enjoy . . . There really isn't any reason to pay good money to support economic disparity . . .Every day and in every way, Kansas City people are waking up to this fact.
5. PUBLIC SENTIMENT AGAINST THE P&L DISTRICT IS TURNING OVERWHELMINGLY NEGATIVE - Huge bills and so many complaints of discrimination against Cordish have taken their toll and the company has become one of Kansas City's worst corporate partners. In the biz community, in neighborhoods and among most people who read the news . . . This company's rep isn't so hot in Kansas City and they seem more like a purveyor of discrimination rather than a good time.
For this reasons and so many more . . . Eventually, the P&L District will ABANDON THEIR DISCRIMINATORY BANK CARD ADMISSION POLICY . . . Which is just the latest element of their overall FAIL in this town.
Westport and Bill Nigro need your money!
ReplyDeleteDiscrimination IS cool...when it involves NIGGERS!
ReplyDeletestupid. I don't fucking agree with Tony but your bullshit at 8:22 is disgusting and you're only helping him prove his point asshole.
ReplyDeleteAll men who would like to boycott the P&L District:
ReplyDeleteJust go to the men's locker room at the Baptist-Lutheran Health Club and ask for Doran Cart and you can have a blow job in the showers --- NO DISCRIMINATION!
How can something STAY WINNING when it hasn't happened yet?
ReplyDeleteOh...is it one of those "secret boycotts"?
Heads up - unless you tell someone that you are boycotting them, they usually don't notice it.
And posting it on the interwebs doesn't count as telling someone..
True, except for the fact no one really knows there is a boycott going on.
ReplyDeleteOf course, the rumor going around that Tony has been paid by P & L to start a boycott to keep out the crowd that pays attention to Tony doesn't help.
are you kidding. NOBODY would pay Tony.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahaha!
Sorry T.
It might be that the P&L is attempting to avoid the problems that the Plaza is dealing with. There are two key areas that are keeping downtown alive: 1. The Plaza, that area is having to deal with flash mobs that are driving those horriable rich people that spend their money in KCMO and 2. the Power and Light District were people will come and eat dinner prior to attending an event at the Sprint Center. People need to look at the big picture and need to stop blaming every problem they are having on race, sex, sexual choice, or anything else.
ReplyDeletede niggas gonna take ovah dis place an turn it into downtown shithole....jus lik bannister!
ReplyDeleteThe P&L district wasn't built for a bunch of thugs, gangstas, and misfits to have a place to cause trouble. Seem to have left that out.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you expect from Cordish? They are from out of town and don't give a fuck about kansas city. They pretended to for the first couple years while they sucked millions out of kc and put it safely back in baltimore. Then they checked out. when was the last time a Cordish was in kc? Has anyone actually checked to see if anyone is still in their offices? They probably left last night.
ReplyDeleteTony has run "STAYS WINNING" into the ground...and he should have to pay a fifty dollar fine everytime he uses it.
ReplyDeleteEver since Tony started his little "boycott", the P&L has been busier than ever. The only difference is that it's full of people who are actually spending money, therefore reducing the public subsidy. There's been less crime the past couple of weeks as well. Way to go, Tony!
ReplyDeleteyou don't go there much. Traffic has been average. Way too hot for most people. Not to mention the prices.
ReplyDelete"Busier than ever" my ass. The boycott hasn't done a thing to impact attendance, but the lack of good places, marketing and the heat has led it to suck ass.
ReplyDeleteLadies should consider brightly colored dresses or skirts and avoid cleavage-baring blouses. You don’t want that in your face at brunch. Guys need an edge; wear a bow tie or, if you have to, go out and buy a $400 pair of sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteI will not go P&L until they bring back the hot oil wrestling. Fuck ya'll.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't like it don't go. It's Fri and sat nights after 11. The only people out at those times are drunks and idiots along with niggers. The normal people are not out then . So all of you people bitching go suck start your guns and do the rest of the world a favor.
ReplyDeleteAs a "journalist," please provide proof that the boycott is working.
ReplyDeleteJournalist? Who? Where?
ReplyDeleteSince the only people who are boycotting are the same people who can't afford the cover charge, it looks like Cordish's plan is working perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Radioman. I couldn't agree more.
ReplyDeleteCan we add "rather gully", "SUPREMACY" (always in caps), "Natch" and "Developing..."?
Don't forget "To wit..." and True dat.
ReplyDeleteWhy is the city not running this? Just how much money is this private company skimming off the top?
ReplyDeleteIn all probability hey will abandon it. Just like Westport takes down its barricades at summer's end.
ReplyDeleteBut they are highly unlikely to take it down because of a boycott. That's because the people participating in the boycott are in many cases the ones they either want to or don't mind keeping out.
Now if Sly and the city come down on them, maybe. Even then, doubtful.
They'll drop the policy - again, maybe - when the weather turns, kids go back to school and they no longer need it to discourage the crowds.
It's my understanding that most Norwegian-Americans don't have credit or debit cards.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the P&L management has ever heard of TKC?
ReplyDeleteOh! The self importance. Somehow I think the author only wishes to be amongst the people denied their 'rights'. Nope, he's asleep in a diabetic semi-coma. Not even around to witness this himself.
