  2. Just a piece of paper. Until the Charter is amended to do away with the at-large system, and we have 12 responsive in-district council members (including the westside), this is meaningless.

  3. Why do minorities insist on empty promises? Why do politicians spend time making empty promises?

  11. I love Latinos, well actually not, but I love the Latino woman, they are hot,( and their 2.00 an hour, taking all our jobs men can be deported) I have no problem with that! more Latino VAJJ for me lol

BTW why do you think there are so many Latinos in the US? Its because of the Latino women, the Latino men are usually unloyal, as your, if you have one (Latino wife tells me)... so hey if the city is going to include Latinos in city hall, make sure to vote in a Latino chick - I will tell ya though Latino chicks are spicy, and its either a good spicy or a really bad burn in hell spicy so make sure you do a background check b4 you vote - sorry T I know you are a wetback, but hey we all know living in your moms basement is not pulling you much trim, lets be real (no disrespect, just stating a point) and if my post seems irrelevant to T's original post then you are part of the problem and not even close to the solution - go back to school .

  12. stupid 7:43. You make white people look horrible. Not because of your dimwit racism. But because you're an idiot and not as bright as you think.

  13. I'm a democrat who is against illegal immigration. They drive down the cost of labor. Take the meat packing industry for example. In 1980 the average wage for someone in that industry was about $20 an hour. An American could support a family on that. Now it's about $10 an hour average.

In the middle of a depression, Americans need all the good jobs we can get. With more and more of our jobs being shipped overseas, where do people who don't go to college get a decent job with a living wage? So, it really hurts those of us without a college education to have to compete with people who will work for next to nothing and don't expect benefits.

  14. No sympathy for you7/28/11, 9:04 PM

8:07 - so we are supposed to reward lozers who dont go to college...no thanks pal, that will only make our country worse off in the long run. It goes like this: Get an education, then get a good job. Don't blame the Mexicans for your inability to support your family...that's your fault for fu#king around in school instead of working your ass of like those of us who have good jobs that were earned.

  15. Another Latino committee, another meeting to attend. That is all they do, meet and nothing happens.
Same names, over and over. Whether it's at the national or local level, before and just after the elections, the victors throw out a few scraps, the Latinos lap them up, pat each other on the ass, and go back to sleep. Obama did the same thing, he will do it again and they will fall for it. Just like Lucy promising Charlie she won't move the football.

  16. Do they all have to contribute to Theresa Garza's wealth like Genaro?

If your name is really Byron, then I can appreciate that my seemingly trade marking OUR name would be annoying. Its not really that uncommon of a name. I've known several Byron's. Its even a surname here. Byron's Construction is just across the river.

    I apologize for the annoyance.

  28. Byron, don't apologize. You are free to make comments, as is everyone else. I still don't think this is news. Just posturing. Means absolutely nothing.
