Persistent Kansas C8ty Transit Advocate Clay Chastain promises to deliver the remainder of his petitions tomorrow afternoon and answer Council Dude Russ Johnson regarding the legality of his effort . . .
However AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS on the street offer this EXCLUSIVE LOOK at Clay still picking up petitions and notice that he's meeting with some success . . .
"Kansas City's "native son" still pimpin' lightrail signatures at 8pm last night at the Brookside Price Chopper. Several people were still interested in what he had to say. No one was really blowing him off at least not the people I saw."
Clay's one victory and the subsequent dismissal of his idea by the last Council seemed to spur on the local dude . . . And ultimately, it's noteworthy that he has remained so dedicated to his cause . . . Now, armed with a bunch of signatures and a NEW, GULLY HAT . . . His effort shouldn't be ignored.
How can anyone take a goober dressed like that seriously?
ReplyDeleteHere's a guy who's out on the streets talking about spending millions of tax dollars and he decides to festoon himself in the costume of a retard?
Goddamn this guy is weird.
ReplyDeleteI mean what the fuck.
He doesn't even live here.
He is Jerry Mazer's brother, always outside a door bustin your ass.
The man is possessed.
"Hey honey, I am leavin home AGAIN and goin to Kansas City to stand out in from a a grocery store and talk to people about Light Rail."
"Thats just fuckin great asshole. Leave me here with the family while you go tilting at windmills again. Just stay here, drink some Lite Beer and do some Rails fuckwad."
Jesus the guy is weird.
WEIRD!!!
What HE said.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Clay ever try to get signatures on the east or west sides? That's where most of the folks who use public transporation live.
ReplyDeleteThis idiot goes waaaay beyond weird. I predict the stupid fucker is for real a nut case and before long, he'll do something so beyond the pale that they'll have to lock him up....He's bat shit, fucking crazy!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Clay should ask for the help of political organizing dynamo, Mahlon "Uncle Tom" Davis, who shares Clay's devotion to Herbert Hoover and other stupid people?
ReplyDeleteYes, many of the "progressives" who blindly help Clay with his whack-job campaigns, Clay is a self-professed conservative, who believes that Hoover's approach to the Great Depression was correct.
What Chuck said too.
ReplyDeleteIs Clay dedicated or possessed?
Petitions have to be organized by a registered resident of Kansas City.
He's like the guy at the zoo who way back when said the elephant was pregnant until the day he died.
That never happened either.
Go home Clay. Virginia has some local issues which need to be addressed.
You are one sad, sorry sight.
ReplyDeleteGo Clay Go!
ReplyDeleteHe is not a bad guy. Who else has a progressive agenda for KC?
Even the Af-Am. leaders are fighting to keep this town the same ol' shit hole it has been.

ReplyDeleteSERIOUSLY - I mean WTF.
Go Clay Go is right - as in Go back to wherever the hell you crawled out of, go back to your OCD meds, Go anywhere, but stop harrassing the people of KC with your meglomaniac plans of light rail.
This is a person who does not care ANYTHING about KC, it is the fact that it is big enough for him to try be something but small enough for him to make an impact. Any other major city, this clown would be a homeless ranter on the streetcorner, with the possible exception of D.C. where he might be mayor.
I have seen this guy's shtick many times in the years I've lived here. SAD
Clay - take your meds, come back to reality, and then go away.
Ihave again with the last comments.
ReplyDeletethis city need light rail we only few city america that does not have it Time you back ward city fork get on the ball if you ready care about the city instand of wining about evertything good about the city you.JUST YOU ASS TO STUDID TO READY WHAT DO FOR THE CITY
I know most of the people that post on this blog don't like the guy, but at least he has a vision, and is taking the initiative to build grassroots support for his idea and make it a reality. That is more than can be said for most of our local politicians who strike me as nothing short of corrupt. So, I admire him for not just being another lame D-bag that sits around and complains about how bad things are in KC. At least he is trying to make it a better place to live.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm in agreement with his vision for light rail. Having traveled extensively, I have seen how wonderful a good mass transit system can be for the residents of a city. A good light rail plan would be a huge benefit to a sprawling city like Kansas City. I wish people would embrace the idea.

ReplyDeleteNothing like good old fashioned jibberish to get your point across. When you sober up[, try posting something legible and meaningful to the discussion.
The fact is the city needs improved transit and that should include light rail. The fact is also that Chaistain's antics are now doing more to impede the process than help it. A constant loser championing a cause does nothing to further it, but merely alienates those who may be undecided. Yes, the city leaders need to come up with a VIABLE plan to address this issue. Clay is not a city leader and his plans are not viable.
Clay says " a petition drive is a great way to pickup chicks"
ReplyDeleteIntroduce him to Russ Ptacek. Who knows, both these nuts may fall in love!
ReplyDeleteI care deeply about public transportation. It's just that I don't want to ride on a bus.
ReplyDeletePeople in Brookside own cars. If Chastain is serious about supporting public transportation, he should be talking to people at retail establishments east of Troost.
ReplyDeleteIs that my little buddy Gilligan?
ReplyDeleteIts called democracy.
