TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! AMID AN INVESTIGATION, CLAY COUNTY AUDITOR WILLIAM NORRIS FILES A HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST JOURNALIST RUSS PTACEK!!!

Without question, Kansas City NBC Action News Investigative Journalist Russ Ptacek is a brave Adonis and a Cadillac of men.

All kidding aside, Mr. Ptacek is most certainly one of the greatest journalists currently working in the Kansas City area.

The latest example . . . Reporter Russ Ptacek has uncovered some of the most damaging and important facts regarding the resume of Clay Co. Auditor William Norris.
Check the links and news of KICK-ASS RUSS PTACEK REPORTING:
Sources confirm probe into Clay Co. Auditor William Norris' offenses uncovered by NBC Action News

Auditor admits he has felony conviction
So with all this information coming to light THANKS TO THE DOGGED REPORTING OF RUSS PTACEK . . . Here's what we know for sure:
RUSS PTACEK IS ONE OF KANSAS CITY'S GREATEST REPORTERS AND CERTAINLY NOT A STALKER!!!
Unfortunately, a recent Ex Parte Order Of Protection claim notes otherwise . . . CHECK THE DOCUMENT OBTAINED EXCLUSIVELY AND FIRST BY TKC!!!
This quick claim isn't exactly forthright when it comes to defining the relationship as public official and reporter . . .
More . . .
The description of the alleged stalking starts here . . . Mr. Norris contends: "I have requested the respondent not contact me and he continues to show up at my place of residence, work and property in Jackson County. He also continues to e-mail and call me when I have requested he not." Click the image for a closer look and use the zoom tool to see the description of what most of us call good reporting.
Mr. Norris goes on . . .
Again, click the image or this link for a better view of the original document . . . Here's even more scintillating description: "I have also received more than 100 e-mails from Mr. Ptacek when I had previously instructed him to leave me alone . . . Mr. Ptacek also jumped in front of my car when I attempted to leave the property."
Again . . . It looks like nothing more than Russ putting in some HARD WORK to get this story . . .
At the very least this request for a restraining order is out of line . . . I didn't include the entire document that has some identifying info I didn't want to bother blocking out . . . BUT there is an interesting definition of stalking which informs this order at the end of the document.
"Stalking" as defined by Jackson County . . . Check it:
"An unwanted course of conduct" is behavior that serves no legitimate purpose. Such conduct may include following a person or unwanted communication or contact. "Repeated" means two or more incidents that show a continuity of purpose, in other words, that are intended to cause alarm. "Alarm" mean fear of physical harm."
Obviously, despite the fact that Ptacek is in peak physical condition compared to all the rest of the news fatties . . . He protects the public interest and certainly poses no physical danger and his journalistic biz is MOST CERTAINLY legitimate.
More to the point . . .
THIS DOCUMENT FAILS TO NOTE THAT MR. PTACEK IS A REPORTER INVESTIGATING AN ELECTED OFFICIAL ON PUBLIC PROPERTY AND POSING ABSOLUTELY NO RISK TO HIS SUBJECT!!!
What's clear is that Mr. Norris is not only embattled in his current and tenuous position as auditor but also that the whole story wasn't revealed in this court filing. And filing false document with the court is kind of a big deal too . . .
DEVELOPING . . .
Kansas City phucked up.
ReplyDeleteRide it Tony Ride IT!!!
ReplyDeleteYup, he's stalking all right. What a fuckqung worm! I've lost a great deal of respect for him now.
ReplyDeleteThey need chivalry rules for reporters. He's gone over the line of fair play and good judgment. Needs to be arrested if he violates the court order.
Moreover, sex isn't the only kind of stalking. The guy's a nuisance and doens't have a Constitutional right to a comment from his victim.
IF anything, a victim has a Constitutional right to be left alone, except at the office, if he's a public servant.
Gone over the line?!
ReplyDeleteThe right to have free-flowing access to public officials is not to be denied. This isn't a paparazzi chasing a celebrity, this is a journalist pursuing a lead.
Thanks for breaking this story, Tony.
And this is not stalking, at all. This restraining order ought to be thrown out, or at least the Missouri Press Association ought to write a brief on behalf of Ptacek.
Insane that an elected official would try to bar a journalist via the instrument of a restraining order.
"Nuts."
I love how Bill's sphincter muscles grip me when I'm pumping him lovingly, and the way he moans when I touch that special spot on his prostrate! Is it a crime to LOVE????
ReplyDeleteThis guy Norris shows you how crazy the tea baggers are that they elected him in November when they blindly voted in ANY Republican. Proud of yourselves, you collective bunch of right wind kooks, scum bags ? I see where one of your own whacked a few kids in Norway.
ReplyDeleteIt's prostate, you poser.
ReplyDeleteEw, ugly stuff.
ReplyDeleteJust curious ... Has Ptacek uncovered anything so far that wasn't know last October before the election? It was well reported then that he had lied about his resume and background. How Clay County voters put the guy in office is an indictment of how little people care about local politics.
ReplyDelete08:55 it's poseur you wanker.
ReplyDeleteIntarwebs rule #1: make sure you are correct when being a dick about someone else's spelling, especially if your post contains only 4 words.
Fucking retards out there, I swear.
obama nigger lovers in here....
ReplyDelete8:55 you would know faggot.
ReplyDeleteI think the reporter just wants a confrontation to put on TV because it's good entertainment. Entertainment=ratings.
ReplyDeleteWe have courts and due process. Reporters like to replace courts... not for justice, but for ratings. They don't need no stinkin 'due process'.
Don't be quoting some freedom of the press phoney wording as if there's a right there to jack with whomever they want. That's not what the 1st amendment is saying. Moreover, sopoena power is reserved for the courts, not any asshole with a craw up his presscarded ass!
I did that. Reporters wanting to make a name for themselves very much CAN act like paparizzi and there's really very little difference. Both are self serving. Moreover he can write a story on a victim without a comment... but its more entertaining to get someone running away fromt he camera... a response to being stalked that, on the face, looks like guilt. It isn't, but it can be edited and presented to look that way. And often IS. It's the glenn beck, fox news way of doing things.
I remember once when Nick Walker (now a meteorologist) HOUNDED, literally stuck his FOOT in the door of a wife of a Marine who was possibly killed in Beruit. What an asshole! No class. H was pursuping a comment from a wife worried aobut her husband's life. He too thought all the world is a stage and everyone owes the pushy TV reporter a soundbite.
This moron Norris appears to be cut from the same cloth as Clay Shitstain. Fucking crazy AND Norris needs to now be removed from office for misrepresentation and out right lying on politcal documents. Another fine, upstanding public servant for KC to be proud of. Fuck KC!!
ReplyDeleteFine, maybe the guy should be removed from office. But he STILL has a right to remain silent both in court and to some egotistical reporter.
ReplyDeleteReporter wants to talk to me against my will, he can discuss it on my front yard with my lawyer at Smith & Wesson LTD.
Emailing the victim for an interview a hundred times? JUmping in front of his car? That's not excessive. That's mental! That's stalking.
That's grounds for dismissal. I don't care if he's pretty. He's pretty SICK, if you ask me. His boss should tell him to start some therapy and back off if he intends to keep working here.
I'm Going To Trader Joes!
ReplyDeleteHeck the head of the Jackson County Property Tax Assessment Office is a Real Estate Agent. Nothing like putting the fox in charge of the Hen house.
ReplyDeleteTime to clean house. Way to go Russ!
ReplyDeletepos·er/ˈpōzər/Noun
ReplyDelete1. A person who acts in an affected manner in order to impress others.
2. A difficult or perplexing question or problem.
Way to go? Are you kidding? This is over a fucquing county auditor. Not Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld and an illicit war in Iraq!
ReplyDeleteWe should sick Russ on a REAL story, not some minor county officer! See what happens.
Who's today's version of Jack Anderson? Please, hire Russ and his psychiatrist away from KC!
Yeah, we in Clay County knew all about Norris before we voted for him. Guess what...we don't give a shit if he lied to get into office or if he stalked a girl when he was 20! All we give a shit about is making sure our tax dollars aren't being wasted. Same feeling on Bill Clinton...who gives a shit if he lied about diddling an intern? As long as my president get the job done, I could care less. Maybe you strokes in Jackson County should take notes...
ReplyDeleteThe auditor should also look up the definition of "trespassing". When my brother tried to press charges for a neigbhor trespassing in his back yard last year, he was told by the judge that it was only legally considered trespassing if you have a "no trespassing" sign posted. The locked gate and privacy fence were not enough in the eyes of the court to constitute a trespassing charge.
ReplyDeleteAs for 100 e-mails, my goodness, if it takes that many attempts to communicate with an elected official, and the only response throughout the process is "leave me alone", then that's an elected official who doesn't understand his role as a member of government.
I agree with Tony, a reporter who just says, "ok" when told to "leave me alone" by an elected official under investigation would not be worth his salt.
11:15 - I know you love him but he done wrong.
ReplyDeleteIf you get right down to it, elected officials answer to the voters on election day. There's nothing to suggest they must answer any other day.
ReplyDeleteTry to talk to your US senator. You'll get a staffer every time. Write the President. See if you get a personal response.
Moreover a hundred emails to the President should get you a response from the Secret Service! Nobody else.
Get real! No politian owes a response to a self serving reporter, no matter what station he works at!
ptacek should have realzed and reported after about a half dozen attempts, "xxxxx has not returned our calls". NND OF STORY.
anything else is excessive on the reporters' part.
Why is this so hard to understand? Who does this fucker think he is? The electorate?
that's much too lenient Radio MAN, we can't afford to let politicians off the hook. They need to answer every day for the mess they have got us in.
ReplyDeleteNo. It's not too lenient. It's only good politics to answer to most voters...but when they become crazy, we're not obligated to appease them.
ReplyDeleteVoters have a recourse if they're unhappy with a guy's performance. It's to recall.
but not to answer every fucking pissd off voter. that's insanity.
and a reporter is just an individual. no special treatment. There are no laws giving reporters special treatment and it should be that way.
For they work for profit making organizations and are not to be confused with the electorate. Reporters and their bosses are accountable to no one--witness Faux News!
I think the republicans who want to kill off our Social security will learn this in 2012, unless all the rich corporations spend lots of money on TV commercials lying to, and deceiving a very stupid electorate.
Tony says "the royal penis is clean sir"
ReplyDeleteI, for one, think this Radio Man KC should take his fucking opinions and confine them to his own stinking blog. Oh yeah, nobody reads that steaming pile......Who gives a fuck about a RadioMan? You don't see the Midtown Miscreant clogging things up and he writes much better than anyone here....
ReplyDeleteThis is a bad deal. But in fairness Russ should have been given a notice that the petition was signed against him and should have shown up to defend himself. Or maybe he was too busy.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about you, anonymous. Except I know you don't have a stinking blog. I'm not sure Miscreant gets all that many hits either, actually. But I get 400 a day except this time of year when few people are on here due to the nice weather.
ReplyDeleteWhat about you? And one more thing. I speak common sense. You're just whining.
What was it you didn't like? Ptocek hassling a contact with over a hundred messages?
Jumping in front of his car? Enlighten me, smart guy.
Radioman's entitled to put his opinions on this blog, just like everyone else. And we're entitled to ignore them, just like everyone else's.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind being stalked by Russ.
Radioman, can you tell me exactly who is claiming that Norris doesn't have a right to remain silent? Spoiler alert: no one is claiming that.
ReplyDeletePatacek is by hounding him.
ReplyDeleteANd others are by suggesting that public servants owe it to their constituents to report to individual voters.
ReplyDeleteBoth of which I reject, even if it's not necessarily a good political move to do so.
Their intimation is that they SHOULD talk and I'm suggesting they definately dont have to!
Elected officials answer questions all the time, or else they could not be impeached or thrown out of office for crimes and misdemeanors.
ReplyDeleteThe idea that the only time people get to hold an elected official accountable is on election day is painfully ignorant.
We need journalists who are willing to go after tough stories, are willing to crack tough nuts. William Norris wants to hide behind the victim excuse as a way to avoid answering to a journalist. Plain and simple.
This is a total abuse of a restraining order.
Norris needs to do the honorable (laughing my ass off) thing and resign. What a moron, using County computers to do what he did. Did he not realize those are subject to Sunshine Laws? Not smart enough to be a politician.
ReplyDeleteGoing after the guy at his home is little extreme.
ReplyDeleteGoing after him at his office is fair game, though.
Switch-hitter, aren't you Tony?
