Kansas City's Kauffman PAC As One Of The "Sacred Places For Music To Live"

I'm sorry . . . The Kauffman PAC is a neat building and it's nice that white people will be visiting the Westside for something besides a taco . . . But c'mon . . . There area already A LOT of empty venues around this town and Kansas City paying for parking on this place doesn't seem like a great investment . . . Talk of the Kauffman PAC as "sacred" just seems RATHER SILLY and nothing more than the same kind of hype leading up to The Great Recession given that most of their upcoming acts after the big opener seem kind of lame and snoozy.

  1. You're not saying that the Kauffman Center is in the Westside are you? It's in the Crossroads.

  2. I think Tony was referring to the population rise that's expected. I hope so or maybe he's gone power mad and wants to claim all of Downtown for the west side.

  3. I can't wait for the maharichi band to play at the new Performing Arts Center. Then TKC won't be able to lavish enough praise on it!

  4. Sacred.
Sounds like a plastic only place.
