Apparently, the steamy weather isn't stopping some folks from doing the nasty in Kansas City parks . . . Check the news of the crackdown on the illicit behavior:
"Police had undercover officers placed at two south Kansas City parks. They were at Minor Park close to Red Bridge Road and Holmes and also at Blue River Park which is close to Interstate 435 and 103rd Street.
Police said in two days they arrested 13 men for all kinds of sexual misconduct including lewd acts and indecent exposure."
Typically, the vaguely homophobic jokes are reserved for this part of the post . . . But seriously, in this heat I'm really just surprised that anybody would want to engage in dirty public sex in the sorta gross "human stew" on local streets or parks. Ewwwww.

All I saw in the article was some guy's 13-year-old son wanted to know why so many cars were driving around in circles and there was some unspecified "inappropriate behavior." If you think that's enough justification to spend tax dollars on entrapment, fine. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if you're from JOCO and quite willing for KC taxpayers to foot the bill to keep our parks safe for your little darlings.
