One of the cheapest teams in Major League Baseball is using the latest Internet bubble to pretty much give away tickets to watch them lose during the ass end of the season . . . Of course it's not worth it, but the discount is nice for everybody but Jackson County taxpayers.

Much of this can be laid on Kevin Uhlich's doorstep. The guy just doesn't understand this market. The Royals are way over-priced. That joker tries to raise prices every year, while they put a Minor League quality team on the field and rip you off on concessions. Another factor is THE DEPRESSION. People are BROKE and unemployed. NASCAR is in the same boat as The Royals.
ReplyDeleteBuy the cheapest seats you can get, then sit ANYWHERE you want.. .. .
ReplyDeleteI am wondering what the purpose of this blog post is. I use groupon and look to see what other cities offer for groupons. Last week, the St. Louis Cardinals were using groupons to sell tickets.
ReplyDeleteIs it to prove the Royals are cheap? The Royals are bad? Not worth full price? If that is the purpose, what does that say about the Cardinals?

Where you get jammed is that they charge you convenience fee and to print tickets at home using your own ink! Go to a ticket broker for a better deal.
