BREAKING!!! KANSAS CITY ANTI-CRIME ACTIVIST ALONZO WASHINGTON WARNS OF MORE PLAZA LOITERING DANGER!!!
An interesting post from Mr. Washington:
"African American youth plan to protest on the Plaza & block the streets!"
I might not agree that hanging out aimlessly on The Plaza is a form of "protest" per se but I think we're all absolutely certain that this problem isn't going away anytime soon.
DEVELOPING . . .
That's it, line em up and the po-po will mow em down. Dumb assed niggers..
ReplyDeleteSend em to the mideast where street protest is whatcha do when ya don't have a job. These kids are just feelin left out.
ReplyDeleteBring in the tanks.
The time I looked protests were part of American history. What's the protest about?
ReplyDeleteDUH... Alonzo is no mrs Cleo... they did it before, they'll do it again. There is nothing wrong with kids hanging on the plaza it's the fighting, and hood mentality I got a problem with, just wait somebodys gonna get shot.
ReplyDeleteFunny how THE PLAZA gets all the Police Protection.
ReplyDeleteits funny that you all miss the problem...everywhere niggers setup shop the city dies....south kc, downtown..more crime, more parents who dont teach or punnish kids, more violence, more thugs...sorry its just the truth..
ReplyDeleteKCMSD kids don't know the first thing about history. They have no ability organize and are dumb as a box of rocks. Alonzo wants us to believe they are organizing? Give me a break.
ReplyDeleteThe city does not owe these thugs a place to hang out. Get a job, play ball, go to the park, do volunteer work, go to the gym, the Y, cruise Swope Park, visit and get to know your family and neighbors. Oops, sorry, all that takes effort and some initiative, maybe some pride in yourself as individual. Things these these lazy bastards don't possess and neither do their parents.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't these "youths" get a job or do something else constructive?
ReplyDeleteThere are already numerous parks and organized activities in this city. Nothing more is owed to anyone.
I would like to see the black "leadership" step forward and tell these "youths" to pull up their pants and get to work.
ReplyDeletei like it.
ReplyDeleteMore entitlement bullshit from ghetto trash with a hunnerd-dollar suit. Clowns like Alonzo are a good part of the reason many of us say 'Fuck Kansas City. I wouldn't piss on it if it was on fire.'
ReplyDeleteProtest what!? Being born? It's not the Plaza's fault.
ReplyDelete8:44's right.
844 is an idiot.
ReplyDeleteOk, 9:06, 8:44 here. I tried to be nice. Try this: Put up a sign that says, "Now hiring", or "Workers Wanted." That should quiet things down. for the ones that can read anyway.
ReplyDeleteI'd lay you odds that 9:06 is nothing more than some layabout nigger, with a name like Arthelle or Layzone or Bruce.
ReplyDeleteI bet they won't do shit this weekend. Have you seen dh forcast 50's@ night. Thug life doesnt come out until it breaks 65.
ReplyDeleteAnd wasn't alozo just bitching yesterday about giving this to much attention.
Pick a side you attention whoring jackass
8:44AM is correct!
ReplyDeleteAlonzo's games are old news and pathetic! All he is capable of is trashing other people and bragging about himself....very UNmanly.
Everyone knows that Alonzo and the "youth" he purports to represent won't amount to anything more than a local crime news blurb which is soon to be forgotten. Some people will NEVER understand it's all about education, hard work, and sacrifice.

ReplyDeleteAlonzo Lavert Washington explained:
ReplyDeleteAlonzo was a quiet nerdy kid raised by a single mother, who nurtured his interest in art. He grew up with an inferiority complex, never feeling that he measured up to most of the other kids. This resulted in his self-imposed "outsider" label which remains to this day. As a result, while Alonzo is capable of achieving success, he continually chooses not to work cooperatively with others, and is his own worst enemy. This behavior manifests as name-calling, blaming others, egotistical boasting, etc. Up until a couple of years ago Alonzo was mentored by Alvin Brooks. Evidently, he decided to break that relationship and has been spewing hate towards the elder, wiser, more accomplished Mr. Brooks ever since. Isn't it ironic that Alonzo actually reinforces many of the negative Black stereotypes which he loves to rail against? He has fallen victim to a process of self-hatred in which a person by failing to overcome their circumstances, becomes enmeshed in the failures of their own culture and frequently leads to mental health disorders.
Oh 10:45, thanks for the complement you stupid fucking nigger..
ReplyDeleteDerka Der is right. They won't come out if its too cold. Too much work staying warm. You ever see em in the Winter Olympics??? Playing hockey, skating (except on free days at Crown Center), running during the winter, outdoors?
ReplyDeleteSo these kids think the intimidate then take over mentality is going to turn the Plaza into their self proclaimed party stop turf thats pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteand since when does Alonzo call them African Americans? usually its just Black Youth.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go out on a limb and say half these kids couldn't point out Africa on a map if it was labeled.
Instead of protesting for a party spot maybe they should stage a walk out on their shitty schools.
and since when is a providing a "hang out" or a "club" a civic responsibility.
@ 10:57 - Well Put
ReplyDeleteAlonzo's mentor Al Brooks' main claims to fame are self-promotion, shaking down brieving families for his "expertise" with the PD, and getting his snout in the taxpayers' pockets.
ReplyDeleteAlonzo's apparently a quick study. It's too bad neither of them have anything whatever to do with actually addressing reducing crime in KCMO.
Every person on this planet has the right to assemble in protest, even the black youth. Considering the attitude of most of the commentators, they have my support.
ReplyDeleteByron, what exactly are they protesting.
ReplyDeleteNot being able to loiter and fight on the streets of an outdoor shopping center?
I just don't see a just cause here, if I'm missing it, please enlighten me.
Yes there is a right to PEACEFUL assembly (given you follow the rules and obtain permits yadda yadda yadda) but previous assemblies have been less than peaceful
Glad you're sticking around Byron, despite your brother fading into insignificance. I like your views even when I don't agree with them. grin.
ReplyDeleteBlack kids are just out for having fun... and clowns like Alonzo, and even Tee to a degree, are trying to make some important political issue out if that simple pleasure, that if anything, is just about needling whitey because he can be so uptight.
This whole Plaza thing, and ALonzo's and Tee's participation is just an in your face stunt.
What REALLY should happen is for us not to comment about their stunts...for high comment count just gives them the attention they hope to achieve.
I dont' run a company on the Plaza. I have no dog in that hunt. Moreover if "the blacks" want to stir up trouble here, as they did downtown with that P&L dress code tempest, well, shrug. Who cares?
I figure it's just job security for the cops.
Radioman - I just want to spend my $75 gift card in peace... sigh
ReplyDeleteit can sit on the desk until this seasonal issue is over.
