TKC EXCLUSIVE, BREAKING NEWS AND CELEBRATION!!! KANSAS CITY JOURNALIST NADIA PFLAUM LEAVES THE PITCH!!!

TKC called her a chickenhead because that's hilarious . . . But now she might not be able to refer to herself a reporter.
Check the late, breaking, off the record message TKC recently received:
"Did you hear that Nadia Pflaum has given her notice? She's leaving to work for The Innocence Project."
I don't have to remind readers that Nadia never liked me after I started cracking jokes.

I don't blame her . . . But I sort of expected her to have a better sense of humor. Third parties were always more defensive of her but I did notice a bit of a salty attitude toward TKC in her online scribblings.
Still . . . I wish her well . . .
TKC WILL TRY TO KEEP COVERING KANSAS CITY NEWS WHILE NADIA HAS NOW SEEMINGLY RETREATED INTO THE WORLD OF NON-PROFIT ACTIVISM OR WHATEVER OTHER VOCATION WHERE SHE CAN DO THE MOST GOOD!!!
Thing is . . . It really is a cause to celebrate, seems like she might be better suited to save the world in some other capacity, especially given that both she and her hipster friends can dish it out but can never take a joke. Still, a good day because there's no future in dead tree media journalism.
Good luck Nadia . . . TKC wishes you well and is only happy to break the news first. Natch.
sweet.
ReplyDeletebigotry, misogyny and homophobia are not funny.
ReplyDelete@12:44-- yes, they are. this is the internet and America; nothing is sacred nor should it be.
ReplyDeleteTony you are being too nice. You should dance on her journalistic grave. Pretend that she is Mike Hendricks.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense seeing as she was one of those responsible for running the rag into the ground.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. There are many more innocent people in prison than that non-profit will ever be able to help free, but at least it is something in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteGood Riddance
ReplyDeleteNadia should go back to law school.
ReplyDeleteNadia has been a wonderful contributor of The Pitch for a long time. I for one will miss reading her.
ReplyDelete@12:49 Those things are funny and nothing should be sacred? So you're one of the people that thinks it's cool that the Westboro Baptist Church pickets outside of funerals? I agree with freedom of speech but I do believe that some things should be sacred.
Don't bother applying for the open position Tony. I think they could find more talent at Day Labor.
ReplyDeleteFred Phelps doesn't make me laugh. Nadia's hat does.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Nadia's writing over the years. She will be an asset to any organization she chooses to join.
ReplyDeleteI've been lucky enough to run into her a few times over the years. Very cool, down to earth chick.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of her. Of course I haven't picked up the Pitch rag since 1990.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Nadia. Never mind this nonsense as you will be missed in the pitch. Glad you got a job though! lol
ReplyDeleteseems like she's advancing and you aren't, fatso. hope you find someone else to stalk as you make your mark as an unpaid gossip slut.
ReplyDeletethe Pitch's loss is the Innocence Project's gain. nadia is a damned good writer. like @3:01p said save a tree and don't apply. you're not good enough. funny at times, but still a troll and NOT a good writer.
If Tony wasn't a good writer, you wouldn't show up here over and over. And he probably wouldn't inspire so much hatred.
ReplyDeleteYou are protesting too much.
Nadia was a good reporter. She was really laid back and really fun to talk to.
ReplyDeleteTony isn't trying to be Nadia, I like what he does. I like what Nadia does. This town needs more people watching the politicians and small town celebrities.
Nadia is a c__t, with a capital 'C'
ReplyDeleteA Nuclear Weapons Worker wish Nadia the best, a courageous lady!
ReplyDelete@7:30
ReplyDeleteA cat? That's just silly!
