Cops protecting their turf just like the gangs. It's getting hard to tell who the real crooks are.
ReplyDeleteThe patrol officers in the KCPD are very poorly served by the union leadership and commanders, just like those in St Louis. The top folks are more interested in making sure that they're not accountable to anybody than they are in providing leadership, support, direction, and organization to their troops, or in building relationships with the community and providing public safety to the residents of the city.
ReplyDeleteIt's way past time for some serious leadership and accountability and a new mayor and police chief are a good start.
Bring in NATO!
ReplyDeleteWith Kansas City being ranked 9th most dangerous city you can hardly say the Chief of Police and his command staff are doing their jobs.
ReplyDeleteHow can they "challenge" a vote of the people?
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that labor groups aren't much on democracy.
I think it's time to withdraw our forces from Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteWhat's going on there is a civil war, and we shouldn't be involved.

Good point just like in Kansas City the police are a dictatorship, the will of the people means nothing.
Do St. Louis cops get to cart their families around with free (taxpayer) gas and take home cop cars too?
