I'm a Kansan. I don't hate Mexicans.
ReplyDeleteIt's the Dutch I can't stand!
Tony please get a real job.
ReplyDeleteKansans don't hate mexicans... they don't even hate illegal immigrants... they just don't want to forced to support illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants need to be deported back to whatever country they came from and enter the U.S. like the rest of us legal immigrants... legally.
ReplyDeleteMost immigrants came here when there was no distinction between legal & illegal.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest problem with TKC's opinion is the blurring of the line between legal latino citizens and illegfal immigrants. It's a great disservice to latinos with citizenship.

MAYBE SO, BUT THERE IS NOW.
KCMO police are stationed at the CAN center don't arrest the illegals there. If the police don't enforce the law, there is no order. If all these illegals are just hard workers, supporting families, then why do they need two full time officers staioned there?
ReplyDeleteTony, the idea that people hate any nationality because they oppose illegal immigration is a logical fallacy and you're smart enough to know it.
ReplyDeleteBe honest - do you really think it's a good thing for America to have tens of millions of people living in our country who don't put America first in their hearts? How can this possibly be?
"The man who loves other countries as much as his own stands on a level with the man who loves other women as much as he loves his own wife."
"We can have no '50-50' allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all."
"Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country."
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American ... There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag ... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language ... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
