1.2 billion where does it go? Because it does not go for snow removal, sewer repair,... Who's pocketing the money?
ReplyDeleteIf you're a consultant", development attorney, run the "drunk trolley", or another insider, you keep getting good raises year after year.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a matter of priorities and we'll see if the new folks have the guts to change them.
Public employee raises? The public trough needs to wait for the productive half of the economy is back to making enough money to pay for it.
ReplyDeleteThey're BROKE!! Unemployment is way up, so NO e-tax coming in. Jobs are leaving lcmo, what did you expect?
ReplyDeleteLet the snow removal babies start crying
ReplyDeleteIf the etax fails and people can't afford to pay for trash pickup, then what?
ReplyDeleteOur street will be littered with trash.
ReplyDeleteKansas City NEEDS a strong, experienced City Manager to resolve these issues. Currently, we do not have such a person. The caretaker manager must go and soon..
ReplyDeleteThe E-Tax is Toast.
ReplyDeleteIf Kansas City would stop giving TIF money out to everyone who asks for it this city could provide basic services with little problem. They also want to put the people of KC on the the hook for a 1000 room hotel that we do not want or need.
