Kansas City Carjacking Gone Wrong

KSHB: Police say six people were inside a carjacked vehicle early Tuesday when it crashed, hitting a tree and landing on its side.

    First you have women and children in a carjacked vehicle, the "men" run away and leave the injured behind. Then the victim doesn't press charges?

    I suppose this is the reason the KCPD doesn't bother with auto theft - they just wait for the perps to wreck the vehicle.
